I got the same card and already have DS9.  They should mount it sideways and sell it as a Terok Nor variant.

I was also charged for the DS9 but they immediately refunded me. They told me it was a glitch in their database conversion. On another note, I am disappointed they have the Centaur on back order. They know how many subscribers they have...

Wow. Has anyone posted on Facebook to see if the problem can be more looked at since this seems to be a problem for all. Does anyone have a number for someone who gives a s--t that I can call and b---ch at?

This is utterly ridiculous. I call they say everything is fine I email they tell me I need to call. I've been a subscriber since day one also but don't have the last two specials or October shipment. I want to scream like Charlie Brown.

Here in Germany some folks are worried aswell. Someone recently made a call to the distributor of the Starships Collection in Hamburg and they responded that they are "currently out of stock of any models". I think that's the reason I got the same answer to my emails for 2 weeks now, they always tell me "the next delivery will take place at the end of the week" and then nothing happens.

The shops don't have any of the models in stock either. Most of the guys I've been talking to (in forums and blogs etc) haven't had a new delivery since August or early September. I really hope they didn't silently cancel the collection, but from what I've been reading here, there are problems in other countries aswell.

If it was being cancelled, I'm sure Ben would've said something.

I will say, why not give shops a try? Cancel your subscription at a certain ship, then go to your local newsagent/supermarket/comic or sci-fi shop, and say you want them to start ordering them in for you, from whatever issue comes after where you've cancelled. I get my ships from asda (owned by walmart, big supermarket chain here in Britain), and haven't had a problem. The guy in charge of the section (papers and magazines) said he'd keep ordering them as long as the two issues each week are sold. They're held back for me, and I pick them up every other Thursday, no problem (one for me, one for a friend). Now in regards to asda, he did say the minimum they could order was two - whereas Forbidden Planet and World's Apart (my two local sci-fi/comic shops) would be happy to get just the one issue in every fortnight, with the condition that I pay for a few issues in advance.

I'm just saying, if you're a subscriber, give this a try, as it seems that Eaglemoss (not Ben or his team - they're just in charge of the products, and have nothing to do with the distribution) are making a complete pig's ear of the whole thing. The subscriber bonuses - AGT-D and Plaque - are lovely, but can be acquired very easily, as I have, and the Borg Cube - which can be bought from their e-store - is absolutely rubbish.

I really think you guys should go the shop route, as this seems like nothing but stress.

I agree 100% with Jay K.  I never subscribed, as I am not interested in certain ships.  My Local Comic Shop orders the ones I want, and I go get them.  easy.

Likewise, IrishTrekkie, my favorite Eaglemoss reviewer from YouTube, canceled his subscription and gets them now from his local News Agent.  He no longer has any problems getting his every other week fix of Star Trek goodness.

I want to know who does their customer service in the US now, I doubt they'd start up their own thing so it's probably some third party company.

When I originally contacted EM, I emailed both the new US and the old UK email addresses, and heard back from the UK one several days before the US....

So, did anybody call yet about the DS9 ad?  What did they say?  I got one too and scratched my head.

In other news, the Fortunate and 1701 came a couple days ago, that was fast.

Meh.  The nearest comic shop to me is 40 miles away, and I don't even know if they stock these (kind of doubt it).  I have to treasure hunt for enough stuff already, and I like knowing that if I receive a dud Eaglemoss will take care of me (unless that changes with US service as well).  For me, the path of least resistance is to subscribe.  But they haven't given me as much of the runaround as some of you.

So I called and they said they would cancel DS9 it since I didn't want it.  If you got the post card, I recommend calling the number on it to cancel, just in case.

On a separate note, I only got the Hirogen ship yesterday, I checked my credit card and I was only charged for one ship.   I called and asked why I only got one ship...they said issue 52 (centaur) is on back order, but they expect it in a couple of weeks at which time I'll get charged for it.

I hope this isn't the norm.

Yep, I just called, they canceled DS9 (weird...wonder if I have to cancel every special now...and if the future specials are now like a year off or something as a result).

And, I had them accelerate my subscription and got the same "52 is on backorder" story.

Massive update from the facebook page courtesy of Tom Tsang. He was at NYCC, and took a load of great photos of the shuttles. The 4-pack will be $80 (probably £40), comes with a magazine for each shuttle, and a holographic card (personally designed by Mike Okuda!), and is out in the UK at the end of this month:

Things to note - they're about half the size of a standard ship, and to get a good feel of it, look at the last photo with the Kelvin, and compare the stands. Another thing I found odd (but am fine with, I actually like it lol), is that the Goddard's name on the front quarters, uses the same font as the credits from the original series.

All in all, I can't wait to get these four, with the Goddard being my clear favourite, followed by the Chaffee. :)

Those holographic cards are floating my boat for some reason.  Love the uniformity of them...and the way the Galileo's matches stylistically with TOS.  If the non-black regions are translucent then these will go on the wall in some kind of light box...

If the shuttles were originally exclusive, and they were "working out" a way to bring them to the rest of us, my rational mind has come up with a justification for all of this...perhaps the cards enabled them to be regarded as a different product offering?   :P

Those cards were made by Mike Okuda himself, thus why they look great! Ben said he's offering them because the shuttles are (in his own words) a bit expensive, so he asked Mike Okuda to do that as an added bonus. I personally don't mind the price as a one off, plus I can justify it by me not having bought any of the JJ ships. :)

Damn..... The more I look at those "Okudagraphs" the more I wish they were standard with every ship.... I wonder how much they would increase the sales point?

Fresh information from the same guy:

Update: I talked to Ben today and according to him 1) The first production run for the shuttles will be as is. No different name or registries for different territories. They might do them in a second run if there's a demand for them. 2) I can confirm that there will be a extention of the collection from the current 90 (?) Ben will announce it later on social media on what ships will be added and how many. 3) This is the muddle part. The space stations are still up in the air over rights as well as whether they would "fit in" as specials to the collection. The K-7 might be doable, but nothing is definite. That's his explanations and not mine. If you'll puzzled by as I am, you will have to ask him to clarify. I also checked the size of the shuttles. TNG shuttle is the larger of the shuttles next the Galileo. They're are about 2/3 the length of the Runabout. The Voyager and DS9 shuttles are smaller about half the size. The base are also smaller than the regular ones. I also believe the MU ships will be part of the extention. I have to ask him about it on Sunday. There was only one cover shown... the Galileo was stacked on top of the others as you can see in one of the picture.

I'll ask Ben tomorrow as well. Not actually seen him there yet, since the US section of EM have no clue what so ever what the heck they're doing there. I asked about the Enteprsie J and the guy said,oh we might have it over there for sale. And I said,I seriously doubt it as it hasn't been made yet. It's an upcoming ship. Oh well, guess they can't ALL be on the same level. But a nice British lady I talked with was more informative. Not about the ships,as she said that was Ben's thing, but she told me about some other stuff they're doing and I must say that one of them sounded really cool! Walking Dead collection was a crap choice though. Don't even watch it anymore after it got so bloody boring. But I bet a lot of people are still into it and want a figurine collection.

I'll see what info I can get from Ben tomorrow,if I see him there. And yes, those shuttles are really great looking, and so are all the other ships.

J-R!

I wanted to stop by and say hi to Ben (and bug him endlessly about BoBW ships), but my sked doesn't permit even though I'm relatively close by, geographically. Awesome news about the 90+ ship plan happening.

These Okudagrams are friggin' awesome, it's a shame they couldn't happen every week as part of the whole magazine package, but I can see how the prices can spiral out of control once you add that.
