What I will say, is that it's the best model starship I have by a country mile. I'm not sure what prices they're going for nowadays, but you'll love it if you get one.

One small problem with it, and that is the parts that go over the impulse engines leave a bit of a gap. I reckon if I'd known about that beforehand, I could've fixed it by sanding the internal parts down. But the place where it's located isn't noticeable, and the rest looks like a mini studio model. :)

If/when DST does Voyager, I'd want it to look as close to the Bandai model as possible.

I wonder why Bandai stopped making them? I'd have loved to see them make the Defiant - I can only imagine how good it would've been!

So awesome that you have that Jay K!  I've also been watching them on eBay but just can't seem to justify getting it at that price.  I did get a pristine used Aoshima Ent. D last year for $150 which I think is a good price.  I wish they had made other ships also.

Do you have the Bandai Ent-E?  If so, how do you like that one compared with the DST Nemesis E?

The Kelvin is the special I'm most excited for, been really looking forward to a good sized, high quality replica of her since the movie came out, especially since QMx seems to be dropping the ball on their collectors scale line. They better not mess it up.

I'd say the NX-01 Refit is the special I'm second most excited for.

What's crazy is how active Ben is on Twitter.  He seems to answer almost every tweet sent at him.  He even started following me, which made him my 3rd or 4th follower haha  (I'm not a very active twitterer).

Totally forgot about that ship, cool that they're doing it. I'll always know it better as the Borg assimilator from Star Trek armada 2.
