I was hoping for TMP figures...& here they are!
I would also love to see the rest of the crew...has anyone got the promo pic that included Rand, Chapel & everyone?
I'd like to see Ilea in both outfits, Starfleet & Probe.

Hey all,
Here's a small black & white version. Hope it helps.
Take care,

I agree with others, TMP is fundamentally a good Star Trek Story at its core. Elements though don't help it as it ages (and are many of the elements that people were critical of in the first place). The overly long sequence introducing the new Enterprise... yes, we hadn't seen it in awhile, and paramount wanted to show off it's shiny new version with mucho special effects. But it didn't help move the story along.
Essentially the "Pajama" Style uniforms of TMP are what TNG ended up going with, albeit with more color, but TNG are still in "Pajama" jumpsuits. TMP style was just too far ahead of it's time, and I think those Uniforms age well.

Really? Is that the completist in you, or do you really like her in the standard outfit?
I don't think she looked good in uniform. It's been a while since I watched TMP (but I'm going to soon), but I seem to recall it wasn't well-fitting and I think it didn't work well with her chrome-dome.
I hope a Decker/Ilia 2-pack is the next thing we see. I've already expressed a preference for them being in their finale outfits.

Those would be excellent choices for the next wave of figures. Maybe we'll get a V'ger model to bring it all together. I still hope that we will see some "Undiscovered Country" figures that will have General Chang, Commander Rand, and Lieutenant Valeris included. Oh well one could only hope.

That's the "I'd love to see any new figures they can make" in me.
Though logically, The regular uniform would be used for Uhura & maybe Rand, so I'd see DST making a uniform Ilea over the probe which requires a lot of new molded aspects....if not her entire body.
Thanks for the pic Matty, that is the one I have as well. I was wondering if there is a colour version but I gather not as I couldn't find one.
Decker/Ilea would make an awesome 2-pack.

Rand & Uhura never wore the blue outfit that Ilia wore, but they did wear the tan, long-sleeve outfit which is the same style in a different color, so that would work.
Without getting into body types of each woman.

Ah, does anyone remember the link to that site that showed all these uniforms? I know there were quite a few in TMP.
I'm not too fussed about that. I really couldn't tell you the differences between the bodies of the original women. TWOK Uhura & Rand look fine on the same body to me as I have only seen the movie once or twice (I know, for shame). I'd be fine with TMP Uhura, Rand & Ilea on the same body.
I guess Chapel as well, though she seemed taller than the others & again, wore different uniforms to the others (from memory?).
Did any of the lesser known guys come back for TMP? Leslie, Kyle...that crowd.

Thanks for that Matty. Great site.
I love white uniforms. In hope we see both McCoy & Chapel in the full white.

He actualy wore two blue uniforms the 2 peice listed and a one peice at the very end. I think it was under the away team jacket and when they got back to the ship there it was.
Blue two peice
Blue one peice
Blue one Piece again
You can see some more great pics from the movie here.

For some reason, links within Trekcore always redirect to the front page. I assume they're very wary about leeching.
I was actually looking at those pics last night, but I didn't pick up that they were wearing jumpsuits under their field jackets.

I noticed that too. But I'm getting used to navigating my way around that site now & trying to find things people are talking about.
As for getting the full expanded crew from TMP...in several years we still haven't finished the original series crew! It will probably take longer than that to see a TMP Chapel or Rand.
But there's always hope. And I don't care what they say, I'm SOOO asking about TOS Chapel again in the next Ask Donster thing. It's been a year or two since we last asked. Though I guess questions of upcoming merchandise only get the same response "Never say never".
One day Christine....one day (Before I am old & grey would be preferable).
