I think Ben is talking about a completely different model. I don't think they'll do this big version and then another identical big version with a separation feature. My guess is that they're working on an even bigger studio scale model collection which may be of the D to celebrate the 30th anniversary of TNG which would feature the separation capabilities of the D? Just a guess.

I'd love to see that resurrected - and it looks like the whole kit was prototyped out. Stupid tectonic plates and oceans and nuclear power plants conspiring to cause the Japanese publisher to postpone publication!

In responding to questions on twitter, Ben has revealed that in regards to the jumbo ships, 2017 will just be for Enterprises, with one coming out every quarter (TOS, D, E, and ?). If they sell decently enough (let's face it, they will), then 2018 is when they'll be making other ships in the jumbo size, with the Defiant and Voyager at/near the top of the list. My guess would be add the Excelsior to those two as well.

That is pretty cool, and I'd love a big lit D, even if it didn't have the removable hull with individual decks.

As for the jumbo ships.

Surely the Enterprise C is the 4th, right? ....Right?

Honestly I'd say the 4th would probably be the refit. It at that size, with a proper paint job, would be amazing.

The D looks cool but I'll hold off to see what this saucer-sep one is in the future. Would happily take a C and E though.

One last thing, the D isn't as long as the 1701, but is obviously much wider (according to Ben).

A jumbo Runabout sounds a bit mad but hell I'd buy it anyway. I definitely want all the Enterprises, Voyager and Defiant. Excelsior seems a bit redundant with a jumbo Ent-B so not sure if I'd buy both in the large size.

The jumbo ships seem to just be prime universe ships.

Unless "all Enterprises" includes the JJ verse.

So, subscribers *should* get the Jellyfish eventually as an auto-ship special, right?  As with every other JJverse ship?  I actually am excited for the Jellyfish given that it's technically from the prime timeline (designed by Geordi...if you take comics as canon)...

Did I miss something?  I just received my latest shipment, and see that it contains #83, Bajoran Troop Transport, and #85, Federation Holoship.  What happened to #84, the NX-Alpha?  I don't think this is a packaging error, as in hindsight, the tracking email stated the shipment included 83 & 85.  Anyone else not get 84?

US customer service referred me to UK customer service for my Jellyfish order from 10/26............ I don't understand why? Didn't they transition a while ago? Neither is answering my email anymore, and I can't call them because the UK call center is always closed when I can call.

 

This is ridiculous, why did my Enterprise A from the same order ship fine, but the Jellyfish isn't.

Send them a message on thier FB page,that's what I've done from time to time. The US CS never answered my e-mails,but the UK one did.....after a few weeks and three or four e-mails. Like I always say....never give up,NEVER surrender. lol!
