Once again, DST's most reliable customers are penalized for their loyalty.

But that's not my problem; I got wise to their ways and passed on the first release of this figure.

Maybe I should pass on this one and wait for the electronic version.

This looks better than the Playmates version. I love that they included the floor and the side panels. I just wish the figure sat more naturally in the chair.

Yes, but at $4 per Sisko figure I've been buying them up just to fix all the defective legs on Data, Barclay, etc...

There's only a couple I can think of but they either don't make sense, or are being released in other ways...

S5+ Worf (a reissue of Nem Worf)

Actually, you could do a FC Worf (which would be a Nemesis Worf with the S4 sash).

Or they could do a vested Sisko.

I'm guessing this is still an early prototype. They could still do a variant of Sisko for it, we just haven't been shown the figure yet and the Wave 1 Sisko is just to show how the chair will look displayed with the figure.

Ooooooooo! Yes! A vested Sisko would make this such a nice set!

Hey all,

Or they could do a late Season 4 Sisko with the old uniform and the new bald head. That would work.

Take care,
Matty-lad

Yeah, personally I'd love for DST to make a different figure to go with the chair sets they are releasing. Otherwise, what's the point of picking up the earlier sets? I still need to pick up everyone from Series 1 except Ezri, but hate that I'll have to bug Goth or some of the other customisers on correcting the height issues when the time comes dry.gif

Donster, I'd be happy to help you out Gratis whenever on stuff like that!

But I can see that I will be taking a dremmel to one of my Many Sisko to fix his articulation so he can sit right in his chair!

Hey all,

I thought of (what I think) is an interesting variant for this chair, what about a DS9 Thomas Riker? He took command of the defiant posing as Will Riker, plus the figure could double as a "Generations" Riker.

Just a thought.

Well, the communicator change would be right but he still couldn't double as Riker from Generations. Thomas simply had a goatee rather than a full beard in the DS9 episode, but a simple headswap would indeed make a Generations Riker. It could also be used for a Way of the Warrior/Generations Worf.

I am pretty sure that Thomas Riker wore the stardard TNG uniform in the DS9 episode he was in so it couldnt be used as a Generations version. But I would buy one anyway. wink.gif

Hmm.. that could be, I have never seen the episode so I don't know, I was just assuming it was the DS9 uniform version... thanks for the correction..

Didn't Riker wear both uniforms in Generations? I think when they were on the space station, he was wearing a TNG style uniform.

Yeah, when he was with the team investigating the Amargosa station he was wearing the TNG-style uniform with a DS9/movie communicator. I want to say he may have worn it in at least one more scene, but for the majority of the time it was the DS9-style uniform.

^ You are correct, he was in the TNG style for investigating Amargosa, then when he reported in to Picard, then starting with his next scene which was in Engineering with Worf, he's wearing Avery Brooks' DS9 uniform.

Those eyebrows are back!

A mistake is a mistake, but if it can be corrected...shouldn't it be?

I'm heading over to that Ask DST thing to plead with them to get rid of the eyebrows. Perhaps if a couple more people do the same thing they may just pay attention.

**

Done.

I also requested, if they do manage a Guinan, to make sure they note her lack of eyebrows.

Avery Brooks has Eyebrows. They are faint and tend to blend in with the his flesh tone but they are there.
You are correct about guinan though. Not a brow in site. wink.gif
