How about it? Would you want Playmates to make toys of the shuttlecraft?

It would be nice, should they ever do the Kelvin shuttle, to have it come with a Captain Robau figure.

Well since the majority of figures are 3.3/4" they should make a shuttlecraft for them and it has to be Enterprise

I'd want both Enterprise and Kelvin shuttles, but I voted for the Enterprise shuttle since we just have to be able to reenact the orbital skydive scene. I just know Playmates is going to have to do a figure with a working parachute! Or in the case of Olsen,a nonworking chute!

I have to say it's very hard to choose, both were pretty sweet. I think I would prefer the Kelvin's shuttle, though.

This may be a stupid question, but would the old PM line Goddard Shuttlecraft work with the new 3 3/4 line?

It's been a long time since I've had mine, but if I recall right it might look too large as they really did make it a beastly thing which looked great with the old figures. The Galileo and Runabout crafts might look great with them, though.

I think the Galileo would look good though on the outside. I got rid of mine long ago, but I think the door on it was more properly scaled for the 3.75'' figures rather than the Playmates figures.

Yes, preferably both, but if I had to pick one, then the Enterprise shuttles. As far as compatibility with figures goes, I'd like it but it wouldn't kill me if they ship wasn't compatible with figures and had a decent array of sound effects/lights, or lacked compatibility with figures to be properly proportioned. Now if it wasn't properly proportioned and lacked compatibility with figures, I'd be a bit irked by it, but that's another story.

At this point I'd like to see both PM and DST do shuttles. If DST did the Delta Flyer and PM did the Enterprise shuttle I'd be very happy. The last shuttlecraft we got was from TOS via PM, and while it was nice, it lacked lights/sounds and was very difficult to fit a figure inside of it.

The TNG shuttle from PM works perfectly. The Galileo is a bit underscaled for the 3 3/4" figs. The runabout is way too small.

What about the shuttle from the TNG Galoob line?

Those figures were equal to or nearly the size of the current PM line.

^I've never seen the Galloob shuttle in person, but the promo shots like that one always looked good. And you're correct on the scale. And I'm with HSBR, the Runabout, being one of my FAVORITE ships, was a horriblly undersized and inaccurate toy.

But back to topic:

Yes, I do want a shuttle and I do it want it usable with the figures. I mean, seriously, if the G.I. Joe line can make ships, vehicles, etc. that can fit multiple figures, then why not Trek?

And since this is a desire thread, I want both too. LOL As well as a few Kelvin figures to boot. wink.gif
