I'm gonna pop into dragon con for two days this year... Sat/Sun. I went several years ago and fun the experience to be a nice change of pace from the way cons like Creation Ent runs.

Thus far... it looks like the list of Trek Alum will be

Lee Arenberg
Kristin Bauer

Stephen Collins
Jonathan Del Arco

Louis Ferreira

Ron Glass

Walter Koenig

Saul Rubinek

Jeri Ryan

Patrick Stewart

Karl Urban

Kate Vernon

Garrett Wang

Peter Weller

Sam Witwer

Garret Wang has been organizing the Trek Track for the last few years, and I got Sir Patricks Autgraph the last time I went and found him to be delightful and charming!

I'm assuming the headliners are intended to be Jeri, Patrick, Walter and Karl, which is a pretty good lineup for a minor convention. I may actually try and meet Karl, as I really have enjoyed him in all kinds of movies as well as Almost Human!

Dragon Con was the last big con I got to go to before my condition got worse.  I walked by Patrick Stewarts room and no one was in line so I got to walk right up.  If I could do it I would go again in a hart beat.  Im jealous though because Ive not been able to meet any of those people.

The Dragon Con Trek Track looks to be rounding out pretty nice.

Patrick Stewart

Jeri Ryan

Gates McFadden

Walter Koenig

Karl Urban and of course

Garret Wang

For the big hitters!

I was surprised to see Gates added, but its a nice surprise as I need her autograph for my collection!

She'll finish off the ladies of TNG for me, and Jeri will actually finish off the ladies of VOY!

In fact, I'll only be missing Linda Park and I'll have completed my ladies of Trek collection for each series.

Well, the con was a mixed bag for me.

I had planned to fly in sat morning and catch the parade and see sir Patrick, Jeri Ryan and gates mcFaden, but my flight got canceled due to mechanical issues. Delta had to put me and most everyone else in a cab and drive us to another airport.

So I ended up missing most of those programs as I was delayed by six hours! For a 1 hour flight!

But I did get to the autograph room and met gates and jeri! Both who we're charming and delightful. Gates was only going to be there another 1/2 hour and she was off so I was happy to have manged to get her autograph!

Jeri had another event on Sunday with Jonathan del arco (Hugh the Borg ), and I caught Walter k. Also.

For anyone that's never checked into dragon con, this is the 5th year that garret wang has been the director for the trek track, and he does a fabulous job! He acts as the moderator and runs all the events, which really brings allot to the discussions.

I can't say enough about the job garret does for the fans.

Yesterday he ran the miss Star Trek universe pagent, and did a bang up job! It was incredibly fun!

So I missed some good programming, but it was the airlines fault not the event. I still find dragonCon to be one of the most fan friendly cons out there. I'm thinking to get my pass for next year right off.

Garrett is very active on Twitter and replies to my, and others, tweets all the time. Very down-to-earth guy. Would love to meet him one day. Robert Duncan McNeill is somewhat active as well.
