For the Eaglemoss ships I've taken to ordering solely from TFAW. Partially because they're relatively local, but mostly because if you know you want to preorder they discount Starship Collection preorders to $16 US, which is best deal I've found anywhere (20% off). They also discount backorders for the same price, but not all of the older ships are available anymore. Still hard to argue with a deal like that.

I've seen the stand issue on maybe 1/4 of the EM Defiants I've picked up (what can I say I really like this Defiant). I didn't end up looking to get any replacements since the ship balances perfectly when the stand is on "backwards". If most of mine weren't right that may have been different, but as I do have a couple extras I didn't bother.

Sorry to hear about the broken ships. I know I've had my fair share, some due to my own carelessness, some incomplete/shipping issues. Never fun.
Great to see pics of the new EM offerings, speaking of, my regular look at the official ship list page paid off again today:
New pictures of issues 18 and 19 (Bajoran Sailor and the Stargazer) have been posted:
Both might just be pics of the models. And newly announced as well we have:
Newly added this time are issues 36-40; the Grissom, Andorian Cruiser, Delta Flyer, Romulan Drone (from Enterprise) and the Second Excelsior class release the Enterprise-B. I think we were aware that all the newly listed were planned but it's nice to actually see them and know the further order. I'm still only up to issue 9 and I'm already overwhelmed I wonder where I'm going to be able to put all of these cool ships.

It's funny. I know just how crazy big Hot Toys' Batmobile series entries are, and yet every time... every time I see them they still kinda blow my mind.
Great pics and an amazing deal, Prometheus. Congrats!

Rather than the tumbers this is the one 1/6 Batmobile that makes me question my decision to go after a (fairly complete thus far) EM Batman Automobilia set instead of those giants. In the pics and video I've seen of the 1/6 line they are amazing and almost unbelievably huge.
I'd love to see pics when the time comes. I promise to be jealous too.
To whet our collective appetites how about an old pic of two of my '89 Batmobiles.
(EM in the front and Hotwheels in the back.)
Although I'm sure the detail of either pales in comparison to the 1/6 behemoth.
#74397 Defiant Toys (not model kits)

Greetings Defiant fans. I did a mini Defiant shoot to celebrate my import Eaglemoss Defiant's arrival a few weeks back. Jay K suggested I share the pics over here too, so here goes:
(Click for larger versions)
Solo shots are of the EM Defiant. The group includes some of my favorites; the F-Toys Cloaked, Hallmark light-up, HeroClix Cloaked, F-Toys Standard, Heroclix, Hallmark Mini, EM, Attack Wing, MicroMachines, and Furuta versions.

I might be willing to go as high as £15 if they were all hand made by the old ILM model shop.
