I looked around for a good long while in Google to see if I could find a similar topic, but alas nothing turned up.
I've had a little fleet of Micro Machines on my shelf for a while, and I love them. Stunningly detailed for their comparative age and size, they are some of my most favourite ships I own. However, I've got lots of doubles, and as nice as it is, having four USS Reliant's and USS Excelsior's with the same name and registry is annoying.
One ship in the lot I got most of these in, a classic Constitution class ship, had it's registory wiped of. Not pained over, just left blank but obviously removed via some method. Now, I'd like to replace the registries and names on my ships, however, I'm quite skint, so I'm not looking for a special chemical. I'm looking for a cheap and easy alternative, that won't scratch or damage the overall paint job majorly. Does anything like that exist? Any method that I could use?
The other question is whether their is any decals I can get to replace them. I'm willing to paint them on, by hand (I have a Constitution class ship with a buckled nacelle, so that will be my quinea pig) but I have seen some fantastic MM customs and I can only wonder whether their is a AMT kit sticker sheet or something like that available people have been using. I'm all out of cash for a few months, but for future reference it would be helpful!
