Here's a Kirk on Khan card from the original movies lineup. This line actually had a lot of card errors, compared to some others, but probably not as many as the "combined" 1996 lineup that had more errors overall, like missing cards. This lineup also had a lot of missing cards.

Saavik with an Uhura card. The movies set seems to have had a lot of card mix ups, to be fair, but it didn't have a lot of actually missing cards, unlike the 1996 lineup (with Pike's notoriously missing card etc).

At first glance I thought they put the wrong trading card into the blister. But no, it's the wrong figure! Good old production errors.

Aight guise, here's an epic, epic error figure I got recently. Instead of a pog, this DS9 Dax figure has a completely random SkyBox DS9 card, which was never a thing that was even offered with these figures, which makes it super unusual. The foot number 002644, so it's kind of an early figure.

But this error is not even unique -- there are other DS9 figures from this second release that also had completely random DS9 SkyBox episode trading mixed into them. So this isn't even the only one I've seen. I have two of these now.

Now, how did this even happen? Best guess: perhaps this was early in the run and pogs weren't ready in the numbers required, so random SkyBox cards were put into the bubbles.

Absolute coolest error figure I've seen in 5 years.

"The pogs aren't here! What do we have that's pog-ish?"

Amazing. And it actually made it out of the factory.

I'm surprised they actually got something DS9-themed, so some planning went into this. It's like they used it as a placeholder in case they ran out of pogs or something.

At some point they must have gotten a shipment of these, cause this isn't the only figure with these cards.

This is another error of the same type, once again with a random DS9 SkyBox episode card, this time with a Bajoran vessel.

Very cool error tbh, I don't know why we didn't see more of these. Perhaps they were confined to just this DS9 second wave -- perhaps not.

But it's interesting that these really are "correct" DS9 cards and not something else entirely, like a TNG card.

Here's a Sisko figure on a Beverly Generations card.

The blister is among the most humidity-faded ones I've seen. I kind of like the look of super faded cards and blisters sometimes, but it could be quite brittle here.

This wave of figures had quite a few cardback mixups.

Here's one of the rarer error varieties, one of just a handful I've seen. I'm gonna call this "the dramatic reversal," in a nod to a certain Voyager episode.

The other version of this type of thing is a card that's facing correctly, but is upside down in the bubble.

TMP Spock on Khan card.

For some reason this wave of movies figures had way more of this type of error, but less of other types of errors, like swapped SkyBox cards, upside down cards, reversed cards, tilted bubbles, cardless bubbles.

Would have been greater to see the "DS9 outside card" error in this series: random TOS movies cards in place of correct skybox cards.

Here's a very lopsided Dax bubble. I don't usually see this error on this series, but it was a little more common on some others, esp the 1996 unified card figures.
