Kind of hard with no people with said power visiting anymore.

The HSBR and FHC, yep it has been a long time since Ive heard from any of them. We should probably start a Trektoy group on Facebook, just in case we should one day come here and find that this site goes the way of the old AA boards. Im just thinking about old members like Jules Loves Shinzon and Captain Burns and Im feeling nostalgic!

Nah not for me, I value my privacy too much to post their as often I'd like/want. Posting in a group results in it showing up in the feed of the people you're friends with, and that's fine with the Eaglemoss group (which I just follow), but not so much as a forum replacement.

If it ever came to that, I'd definitely use reddit for this reason.

I agree on that, Facebook sucks.

Reddit is a far better platform for forumesque discussions.

I can't stand Discovery or the JJ stuff, but all the discussions are contained within seperate threads, so what's the problem?

Well, just found out that, according to a McFarlane rep at Toy Fair, Kirk and Picard are the only figures planned in all of 2018. So, it's starting to feel like McFarlane will be like DST Mark 2. Maybe worse. I HOPE this is because they are planning a more robust launch of Discovery figures, and are waiting until the show is back on the air in 2019. It doesn't really explain why no figures from the older shows are coming though.

My guess is they are going to feel the market... I wonder if they will still do the DISCO figures that were planned? actually all I really want from them is that DISCO phaser!

The Discovery phaser is still a go and is coming this fall. No Disco figures this year, though, it seems. That's why I said maybe they are holding it back for when the show goes back on air, which makes sense. It's likely when they made their plans initially hey assumed season 2 would be back in the fall again.
