I wonder if we'll get a Gary Mitchell and "walking refrigerator unit "? They could throw in Kirk with ripped shirt and James R. Kirk tombstone with the possesed eye Mitchell variant!

Great, It's nice to get a variant that isn't Kirk. With a bit of luck we'll see Spock and Scotty.

Love it!

Like others I want Spock & Scotty at the least. Gary Mitchell and Dr. Elizabeth Dehner would round out the set nicely for me, but I won't hold my breath for them!

It would be nice if the Spock WNMHGB figure, if we get one, would look like Spock did in that episode, with the more severly upswept eyebrows, rather than just a TOS regular Spock head, like Playmates did with their WNMHGB sets.

I wonder if this is part of the exclusive 2-pack? If it is, then it'll probably be a Kirk / Sulu 2-pack...

Hoping it's NFC's polybagged figure though, and then get continued with a Spock and Scotty 2-pack.

As long as they have the blue paint out...why not make a Chapel? biggrin.gif

I know it's a pipe dream, but it would be excellent if this was part of a SDCC set...Sulu, Scotty, Spock, Mitchell....with a bonus figure of Dehner!

But I'm a dreamer...

I suspect that it will be some sort of promotional deal... just from the way DST billed it...

I just hope it's easy to get!

Yeah, I'm hoping that insignia gets corrected before release...I guess we have a 50/50 shot of that happening wink.gif

I guess more of a 1/99 chance of it getting changed based on the Voyager Geordi figure. wink.gif

Well, I'd say it has a slightly better chance of getting fixed since the Geordi figure has a sculpted communicator, whereas the TOS insignias are paint or decals? Of course, they need to notice it in order to change it, so someone may want to fire off a question about it ASAP.

Definitely hope it is something like a SDCC set, if they make the previously suggested:
Spock
Scotty
Mitchell
Sulu
Dehner

Then they could make later on from The Cage:
Number One
Spock
Yeoman Colt
Dr. Boyce
Lt. Tyler

I'd buy them all. biggrin.gif

Nice....I bet he will be like a Convention Exclusive for like Toyfair and other ones....I don't think he will be part of the SDCC set, they wouldn't have showed him this early.

I'm not counting out that possibility, especially since DST has got to know its own track record on getting things done on time. The need to get started now to be sure! tongue.gif

Why wouldnt he be? So far all of the TOS figures have been in scale with each other. Even the stuff DST did after AA did their run. And since they realy only have to change the rubber shirt piece (and maybe the head) there should be no problem with scale. If this were the TNG or DS9 line then it may be time to worry but as of right now they have not given us reason to worry about TOS.

Seems like it's found a home...The Blu-Ray TOS Season 1 set mailaway figure:

http://trekmovie.com...oming-aprilmay/

If you don't want to read it all:

"It is also worth noting that this set is retailing for almost half of what the HD-DVD set was original sold for. Plus there is a collectible bonus of a free exclusive Sulu action figure from Diamond Select Toys (fans pay only shipping and handling charges). All in all this set looks to be exactly what fans have been asking for since the Star Trek Remastered project started in 2006. "

I'm assuming that has to be our WNMHGB Sulu.

So...The set is over $100 and I don't even own a Blu-Ray player yet. Time to start saving!

I usually don't have a problem with mail-away premiums like this, but I think this case is a bit excessive. The set is $120, which is a lot to ask for a collector to have to pay just to get this figure, especially for those of us who do not have blu-ray players. It was easier when they were asking us to get $30 DVD sets, but this is a just an unreasonable offer considering the high price and the fact that it is in a format that isn't exactly common to the majority of households.
