Ugh. Sometimes I type a message and it just posts blank. So weird. I was wondering how you cancel a subscription these days?

I'm keeping Discovery through at least the Discovery for now.

I'm starting to get really annoyed with Eaglemoss now. I've still not received Enterprise Ring Ship or XL Voyager that I ordered back in November.
When you order something it actually says in the confirmation email "Please note that if you have pre-ordered an item, you will receive an email when it is in stock and dispatched." when this is a complete lie! After ringing them and being on hold for 25 minutes until I got to speak to someone apparently Ring Ship was sent out on Friday and Voyager was sent out on the 3rd of January but not sign of either yet.
Ring Ship was specifically advertised as delivery 21st December and Voyager was advertised in email as perfect Christmas gift.
Not exactly perfect Christmas present if it doesn't turn up until a month later! They should at least email you to tell you if it is going to be later than they originally expected rather than just hear nothing it and appears out of the blue at some random time far later than you expected.

That's shit dude, hope you get them soon.
As a random thing, I just ordered the Probert Enterprise-C today. I'm completely out of space for the regular ships, and as a result I've had to keep my last two models in their boxes for now (Romulan Scout and the Raven). However, after seeing this photo of it today on the facebook group (plus it currently being on offer) I just had to order it immediately:
If we ever see a Trek tv series set around the 24th century again, I feel that this ship should be top of the list in terms of being made officially canon. I'd love to see UGH! models take a crack at this beauty in the future.
EDIT: I'd also love to see one of the CG wizards on youtube (the IRML) take a crack at recreating some of the scenes from Yesterday's Enterprise, but use this version of her (I still love the official Ambassador class as well).

I've been waiting for EM to email me that I'm going to receive the next special after the swarm ship, but nothing so far. I think the one after that would be the space station, no? My shipment that just left yesterday is only 1 ship (#115, Tellarite), I guess they are all out of most new ones again. I think this may be the last straw where I just cancel soon and do the final leg of this via BBTS, which is how I've been more quickly filling in the ones they keep skipping.

If it's no problem Hobs, could you take a photo of it next to the Defiant (Eaglemoss), and the DST D or E? I just want to see how they look in terms of scale.
EDIT: Just thought, the Equinox would be especially excellent (and more fitting). lol

Here you go. Comparing it to the original Voyager the improvement in fine detail is insane. While the other ones were a slightly disappointing the same but bigger the improvement in the fine detail on Voyager cannot be over stated. If you want to nit pick there is misaligned windows because they always do. It's a 10/10 for me, regular Voyager kind of looks like junk now in comparison!
I don't own any non Eaglemoss models. I collected the toys as a kid but when I became an adult I stopped and it was only when Eaglemoss brought the collection out that I started buying models.

Jumbo Voyager does look damn good, and is a very tempting purchase.
I just don't know if I can justify the price tag when I already have the Bandai one.

If you have the Bandai one then kinda seems pointless getting this one, this one is a fantastic purchase for anyone not lucky enough to own a Bandai Voyager

Definitely going to have to get that Voyager! Great pics!

My jumbo Voy arrived today also. I have to say, its absolutely wonderful. Well worth the £50, or £45 or whatever I ended getting it for. Easily the best jumbo next to the NX-01, I'd say its slightly better but only because it brings out the detail even better. Really really hefty.
I also got my USS Curry. I love it, not as small as it looked in pics which is good.
I can't wait until the Defiant, it must be the next one surely.

Hello OAD.
I can't find the post right now, but a couple of the guys on the fan facebook page worked out that all the issues are the result of a bad 'interpretation' of the CG file of the ship. Tobias Richter's CG model doesn't have any dark rooms on the dorsal port-side of the saucer, same with the ventral side. As for the drive section, the upper part should be a slightly different colour, and either that part is missing entirely, or they've decided what's there is a fair approximation of it. Either way, I'm afraid it's the same with all of them. A shame, but I'm still looking forward to getting mine.
Here's a random, really cool thing. People have started to receive the next issues, and one of them is the Curry-class (one of the nightmare DS9 kit-bash fleet!). A guy disassembled his as it'd been put together wonky, and discovered something underneath the saucer that's hilarious. I'll post the pictures, but I'll leave it to you people to spot it yourselves. Truly, this ship is an absolute kit-bash:

Greetings All,
So, I finally got things set up on Flickr and have uploaded a few pictures of the missing details I had posted about earlier. I certainly hope this is not the norm, as it would be a shame for such a stellar model (pun intended!) to be marred with missing details on all of them produced.
Here's what I hope is just a defect on mine...
Missing window detail on the port side top of the saucer
Missing window (black) detail on bottom side of saucer
Missing aztec detailing detailing and windows on forward top surface of the stardrive section.
Missing aztec and window detail on the connecting dorsal (both sides)
I hope this is is just a one off error and not the norm. We shall see what Eaglemoss's response will be.
Regards,
OAD

As I said earlier, it's not just yours. Here's two random shots from the facebook page:
I couldn't find the post in which people worked out why the paint is messed up (that page has almost 50 posts per day), but again (and trust me!), the post I made in reply to you is the reason.
