I picked up one of these kits a couple of weeks ago and started working on it about a week ago in my spare time. Here are some in progress shots. Its getting there but I still have a ways to go. The overall build has been pretty good. Most parts fit well together. I only really had one problem with one nacelle and engine not lining up good. There are a ton of decals. Im not sure if I am going to use them all or not yet but have done quite a few already. I plan to do some lite weathering but want her to stay relatively clean.

Nice work!  The alignment of those nacelles are always a challenge, no matter what 1701 variation you're building.  How much was the kit, and where did you purchase?

NICE! Mine will forever be in it's box as I have absolutely no patience whatsoever for this kinda thing. Wish I did,but my way too short attention span won't let me. My refit 1:350 will do likewise. I've opened the boxes of course,as I wanted to have a look at how big they might be if I actually put them together, and that was fun at least, lol! Looking forward to seeing your finished ship. I got this ship from Amazon UK btw, bloody cheap an'all! It's 60 bucks on US Amazon, free shipping, and 25 quid on UK Amazon. And it's in stock,at least it was right now, lol!

Btw,just outta curiosity, can you pay someone to build these models for you? GOD I wish there were some pre-built ones, like my NSEA Protector, lol!

Thanks everyone. I picked it up on ebay for $52 shipped. Which I thought was an incredible price. it has been a fun build so far. Im enjoying painting it and doing the decals. Im not going for 100% screen accuracy on this one. I always tend to add my own little flare to every model I do. Its more fun that way.
