Let me start by saying we are self insured so we have to cover this. It was setting in the parking lane at the end of the day and went up before we could stop it. Still not sure what happened but we think it was something that shorted out in the wiring.

Thats unbelievable. I guess its a good thing none of the other stuff was damaged (hopefully). It looks like it would have been quite the sight to see. Hope everything works out for you though.

Nothing's worse than not knowing what caused it.
Who's to know, if it is caused by a defect, that a similar instance might happen again to another one of your vehicle

I'm just thinking it was a darn good job that nobody was near it or sitting in it when it went up. Yikes!
And on a lighter note - would that qualify as a "battle-damaged" variant?
