I'd just like more Star Trek Minimates, please. Almost anything post-1982 would be super.

Star Trek has proven many times that network television is not its friend. It thrives when fans seek it out. That was the case in syndication (repeat and first-run) and I'm sure the studio is hoping that'll be the case for streaming.

I'd still love to see what DST could do with Trek figures in the 3 3/4" category. Heck, I'd settle for Minimates that weren't the same recycled figures that have been offered before. A new series opens possibilities, I would imagine, unless CBS decides that – like the new Trek films – this upcoming TV show requires a separate agreement.

As for the 7" Select figures, the lack of articulation is part of what kept me away. I prefer to pose my own figures. That's what makes toys fun.

I have to believe that this figure will end up offered somewhere else, maybe as a 2-pack with a Pike, sometime down the road. That's a ridiculous price.

Hopefully fan demand steers Mezco toward finding a way to get this into more collections at a more justifiable price. You know, one that doesn't include divorce papers.
