I've put some thought into building a bridge to the scale of the DST figures.
I've never attempted something like this before nor am I a customizer. So, I'd appreciate any advice that anyone is willing to share. (Any thoughts on the best matierial to use?)
Also, I haven't made a final decision about whether to build the Ent-D or Ent-E bridge. I've never been able to find blueprints of either. I'd appreicate any web links to blueprints or good pics of either.

does this help.
Oh and I moved this to the custom section. This way anyone that does any customs will find it and may be able to help you.

On the OLD AA boards, one guy made the Voyager bridge out of Cardboard and it was spiffy I don't think it was to scale, but the work he did was amazing. So you could build it out of anything Michael

Check out the following sites for reference:

http://www.lcarscom.net/bridge.htm
I used to have a link to a site with overhead schematics for some of the bridges, but I can't seem to find it now. If I find it, I'll post it.
Using a combination of card stock and styrene plastic sheets would probably be the best materials to work with in the construction of your bridge.

If you are considering a TOS bridge, go with the McMasters blue prints, not Franz Joseph's. I wasted a whole year on mine before marriage and a baby that is keeping me from working on my AA scale bridge now.
Here's some blueprints: http://www.strafe.co...rek/blueprints/
The scale is 1:10 metric. AA is 10 centimeters for each meter on the blueprints. The TNG is of course more.
Styrene and foam core are the best permanant materials IMO.

Detailing any bridge project can be done using The Captian Chair CD

You can cut and size view screens for all of the following:
TOS Enterprise
Enterprise D
Enterprise E
Voyager
Defiant
Sorry no Movie era Enterprise Refit or A.

I've been considering making the Enterprise E bridge once I've got all the Nemesis crew.
But it looks like I might have to wait a while.
