Moebius has finally released its prefinished version of the original Galactica, and its gorgeous.

All three are in the same 1/4105 scale, so you can see the actual size difference.

I love these, and really hope they make the Valkyrie at some point.

Its really a great piece, and it makes me sad that they dont have the rights to make prefinished Trek kits.

Im sure theyd do an amazing job.

Damn, son!

This makes me all-the-sadder they didn't go full fan-wank in that show and discover a TOS battlestar adrift near Kobol or Old Earth... would have been a fantastic nod to the original series, and like the many other TOS designs, it needn't have tied the two continuities together.

And a secondary "Damn, son" because I bought an RDM Galactica kit a while back, and it has languished incomplete on my shelf (just like all my other ship projects) for years now. I can't complete it if it doesn't live up to my (screen accurate) standards, and I know I lack that skill.
