Depending on what type of prop you are looking for, I might recommend you sign up over at the prop forum, usually there you can keep up with what kits are available and by whom...

It is primarily trek props, however, we have sections for non-trek props as well such as Bladerunner, Galaxy Quest...etc... smile.gif

Yup. Being a member f a prop forum is the best way to get inexpensive kits. The community usually helps each other out by providing props and kits with litlle or no profit to themselves. It's also a good chance to get rare and very limited props that not many others will have.

Ebay is another route, but again, being a member of a prop community is invaluable there. With Ebay, you never know what you're going to get, so having a large knowledge base available to you helps a great deal.

I find that you will get a better kit for the money when you ask around in the group. There are many copies of great props and that not nearly as nice. You will get a better idea of who has the nice ones to build asking around a prop forum.
