One figure that they have not made and was seen a fair amount on the show was Shirtless Kirk. I have not even seen a custom one yet!

When they do shirtless Kirk, it so has to be from "The Gamesters of Triskelion"! Do a two-pack and include training thrall, Shana. I'd drop some quatloos or latinum or whatever for that! Bring on the disembodied brains as an electronic set too!

Thanks for all the replies about the different versions of Kirk. Since the reissue is the same as the electronic command chair, I think I will pass the reissue and get the chair instead.
Now, how about the reissue Spock? Is it the same as the original series 1 release?

Same Spock sculpt, but a more blue tunic, and his face is painted much better to my eyes anyway. Others will disagree. spock2.gif

The Reissue Spock has human flesh colored skin rather than green tinted skin. Spocks eyebrows are different, his gold braid on the arm is brighter.

Mine has a green tint. His face is a bit warmer, but the green tint is still there. spock2.gif

I thought the Playmates 9" Generations Kirk had a good likeness.

In regards to shirtless Kirk figures, DST's shirtless men don't often look that good because the skin tones chosen are usually very pasty white. It may work for the Vampires in the Buffy/Angel line, but wouldn't be very 'Kirk'.

That aside, a shirtless Kirk is about the only one I am wanting to see these days.

I guess there are variations among the Spock reissues. I also noticed that there are variations in the eyebrows with the reissues too.
