I was looking at the pics again and does the Kirk in spacesuit have ball/hinge joints on the elbows and knees? I dont know if that is just the prototype but if it does it will have way better articulation than any of the other figs.

I just hope his space helmet will come down and cover more of his neck, other wise he'll suffocacte in the vacuum of space.

I hope the helmet comes down further too and it was just a photographer's mistake. It'd look kind of silly otherwise. He does have ball joints too! I wonder if it was just the costume or a clue as to where the line is heading.

Oh I see the Polarilla uuh Drakoulias (isn't that a Greek vampire?) is in 6 in as well as 3+3/4 scale.

But how will it stand up against the Nexu?

Well, the 6 inch 'Polarilla' should look better scale wise with the 3&3/4 inchers.... I doubt the Drakoulias will look right next to either though...

Although the 3.75'' Drakoulis and the 6'' Lobster monster will probably look nice to each other.

I can't beleive it took me a whole week to notice that! The ankles look like they will have articulation too! It's a shame that all these figures didn't come with the ball jointed knees and ankles.

My question is does Kirk come with a parachute or no?

That is a good question. I doubt he will.

Does Anyone have a picture of the Cadet Kirk figure? I swear I had one, but I lost my flash drive with ALL of my Reference Site pictures on it...I am so upset!

If you have one of the 6" Cadet Kirk can you post it here please!

Wow, not much activity around here. Is it safe to say most people prefer the 3.75 inch figures?

I like all three scales Playmates is producing. I think the lack of activity is because we are waiting for wave 2 to come out before we talk much more about them. Looks like we would have seen them in the stores by now.

Yeah but still, the 3.75 inch figure thread has five pages compared to this which has only one.

I personally prefer this size in my figures, I don't like my figures to be too small. It reminds me of the Star Wars figures. And Star Wars sucks, quite frankly.

I was sad that these didn't mesh with DST at all.. that was my inital hope way back when. I did pick up all of the first wave, but I'm thinking I may pass on wave two and focus on the little guys. Not totally sure yet.

On the other hand, the 6"ers aren't all that bad. smile.gif

I think the 6" figures have better detailing and likenesses than the 3.75" figures and so i think i like them a little better, but the 6" scale will probably never get any playsets to go with them.

ohmy.gif seldom does one find a trek only person nowadays. I like both personally. but to each his own.
