I finally received word from Forbidden Planet that they have not received their shipment of the Gold Enterprise from their vendor, but will have them in the mail as soon as they get them. Good news!

Did anyone find out what the fix is for a broken stand for the 1701? Will they replace them, if you give them a piece of the broken one, or are they not doing that at the moment. Sorry to pull up an old thread, and I read all ten pages, to no avail.

Well, I have tried contacting FP several times about my order and have gotten no replies. I am a little upset about it. If they had no intention of filling, or could not fill, my order, I wish they would let me know so I can look elsewhere.

Did anyone else get a notice from FP about their order? I got an email a few days ago offering me my Gold Enterprise for almost $150 including shipping. This is double the purchase price listed when I ordered it. So I didn't respond and thus canceled my order ... very disappointing.

Wow, can they do that? Raise the price after you preordered it and not give it to you at the original price?
That's a big problem with FP. They seem to jump the gun on preorders all the time. Considering this was such a limited release, they should have held off on offering it until they new they were able to get them and for how much.

Well the thing about it is, I checked my order confirmations and there is no price listed. So I guess they can do whatever they want ... and they did.

Well my stand on the TOS E now wobbles and won't support the weight of the ship. I guess I will have to fuse the little pivot point together with some glue to get it to work. Anyone else having this problem?

They probably added to the shipping, forbiddenplanet.co.uk lists it for
