My Polar Lights Enterprise

I've decided to take up modeling again after a twentyfive year hiatus. Here's my first completed project: a 1/1000 scale NCC-1701 by Polar Lights.






I'm currently working on the Klingon D7 by Polar Lights.

Hi All,

Just a new member saying hello. I've been a Trek fan my entire life, from 1965 onward. Since I grew up with TOS it's understandably my favorite, but I've appreciated every Star Trek series and movie for what they are. I've never understood why something like Star Wars, that's as shallow as a mud puddle, is so much more popular than something like Star Trek, which has always dealt with the social issues of the day in far more depth. Then again, maybe that's a rhetorical statement that answers itself? (I do enjoy Star Wars for its entertainment value)
