Zach - those sounds are amazing - as is the light up shuttle bay. I was gonna give this one a miss, but you just made yourself a sale dude!

No worries Daysleeper, I only recently had a good look at em via one of the old threads and was blown away - truly works of art that made me jealous that I didn't own them and envious that I am not creative enough to construct such things. Great use of the Seaquest figures too. Another one of my favourites from Playmates so it was awesome seeing them re-purposed.
Just got given a Shuttlecraft Goddard for my birthday...its 1am here and I have just finished flying it round the house (albeit quietly without roaring impulse engines) - so yes, I still play with the toys quite a bit! No shame in it at all!

Thanks dude - the photo is from a convention last October. There was a full size tardis and many full size daleks. There early as en exhibitor I managed to charm my way into the tardis and drive around a real dalek! It was all kinds of amazing.
Tom Paris is busy setting overnight with with a belly full of nail polish - I shall report back on results!
Nope, not a good combo at all man - in fact I can say I spent several years of my life like that (including the bit about being superawake!). If you're feeling blue, drop me a line - I could always use an old fashioned pen pal :-)

Rant on my friend!
As a collector of playmates figures, I cant help but shake the perception that they are somehow 'unwanted' in view of the way they are treated by some sellers.
I have received figures mangled, mouldy and from heavy smokers on a number of occasions and as petty as it sounds, it breaks my heart.
Its about perception. You and I perceive these figures as valuable. Others don't. When those two disparate beliefs collide = badness.
I guess I believe that even an unwanted object should be treated with respect (if only for all the resources expended to create it) and given/sold to someone who will treasure it.

I just purchased a Romulan Warbird and ordered these stands called Flightpose
http://flightpose.com/index.cfm
Someone else on this forum may have suggested them (thank you, whomever you are!) but I hope they do the trick!

Just limited by the bank balance, but thanks dude. I've been using ebay to get most of the 4.5 inch figures - Amazon shipping can be a little high to Australia - and of course trying to find the few collectables stores that still have some in stock!
I know Professor Data is hardly essential - but he is a version of Data looking like a skunk :-)
