Here's a hell of an illustration between Dathon and Vorgon with pog values in late 2019. Same seller, same day, very different results.

The International version of Seven of Nine went for $108.28 + $7.70 shipping after 19 bids.

At this going rate it's outperforming Red Data, Barclay, and Yesterday's Yar. But Seven is a bit of an interesting character at the moment, unexpectedly so, with Jeri Ryan's impending comeback in the Picard series.

Ambassador Spock with pog, MIB, sold for $9.60 + $4.00 shipping as a Buy it Now.

This was the Spock variant with the dark spotted body and mixed-color arms.

Not a lot of money, as far as these go, but not dirt-cheap either. The Spock on 2nd release with pog is a bit rarer than the one with the Skybox card, but not wildly so. But this result is pretty strong in this day and age, when 2nd release figures are dime a dozen. So there's some hunting going on here.

Vorgon with pog, MIB, unpunched card, sold for $13.39 + free shipping, after 9 bids.

Fierce battle here: 9 bids!

Yes, this is what gets you Vorgon with pog these days. Pretty realistic result -- these are nowhere as pricey as they were back in the day, unlike Dathon.

Mail-away Sisko in an unopened bag, with certificate, foot number 2832, sold for $400.00 in Jan 2019.

First of all: sweet Jebus that's a lot of money. Is this how much they go for?

Having said that, I don't remember seeing a single on on eBay in like 5 years, so there is definitely a natural scarcity issue there.

This is still one of those figures that I dream about finding at a garage sale or something. Let's put aside for a moment the fact that I haven't seen a single Trek figure at a garage sale in like a decade, but yeah -- that would be nice.

What's funny is that back in the '90s the Sisko mail-away figure was offered for around $80-90 in the big comic book shops that advertised in Lee's and Tomart's, about the same as Thomas Riker, but there just was not a freakout of any sort about the figure, possibly because cardless figures were undervalued, so therefore the figure was "loose" in the eyes of collectors and scalpers. But his production run was not huge, so he was undervalued in relation to the production run.

Compare that to now, when you can get a Thomas Riker almost for free -- look hard enough and you'll find figures that are cheaper than the shipping cost. Sisko, on the other hand...

Red Data on US card, MIB, went for $222.50 + $15.39 shipping after 2 bids.

This seems implausible, cause these were selling for $50-80 just a few months ago, so I'm tempted to chalk this one up to buyer enthusiasm (possibly after some glasses of pinot) after watching several episodes of the Picard show in rapid succession.

This is not where these trade at all, and this is just a wild-ass result. But hey -- good for the seller!

Had to chuckle that it's listed as "Lieutenant Commander Date"

Maybe someone was drunk-bidding on a military escort.  ;)

Tapestry Picard, MIB, went for $301.01 with free shipping after 11 bids.

This is about market priced at the moment, but I have a feeling we're gonna see a lot of these appear on eBay in the next 6 months or so.

I think one has to remember that a lot of these are still new in box, and there are far more of these out there than some rarer items, like Canadian Sarek with pog, Dathon with pog and some other variants. So while this is still the holy grail, for better or worse, these trade hands all the time and the numbers of these still MIB are very high. There are more of these out there than Canadian Red Datas for instance -- that's pretty clear. The Picard show might be giving interest in these a boost at the moment, but $300 is still where these have been for a while.

Rom with Nog, in blister, recently brought (brace yourselves) $9.99 + $9.60 shipping after 2 bids.

Strong result, and I can't help but wonder if it's the fact that Nog is in front of the pog here that resulted in such a strong price. It's a variation, I would say, but not one that has drawn much demand.

Another Rom with Nog, in blister on a very wavy card, with Nog also in front of the pog, has brought $11.99 + $6.15 shipping after 1 bid.

Once again, these values are playing chicken with $20 at the door mark, which is a recent phenomenon, one that has emerged in the last couple of years I would say.

Our returning champion, the Tri-Fold Borg, has recently generated $1,200 + free shipping after 4 bids.

The starting price for this one was $899.99 and three bidders managed to quickly run that number up.

Needless to say, demand for things Borg is probably at a 20-year high at the moment, but at the same time these are probably not just people motivated by the Picard show streaming on CBS, to pay $1,200 for a Borg figure on a different card. If you were going to pay north of a grand for a Tri-Fold Borg, odds are you have probably been wanting this figure for something like a decade. So the recent interest in things Borg is probably not a factor.

But these come up for auction about once a year or once every six months, so opportunities to buy one at an open auction don't present themselves all that frequently. In past years values for these have ranged between $600 and $900, based on auction results.
