I really like this class of ship. The Vesta class is also used in the Voyager books. The U.S.S. Vesta herself is a member of the Full Circle fleet exploring the Delta Quadrant and is the command ship for Vice Admiral Janeway.

I liked the twok stuff for the most part but they were hardly perfect either. For one thing, Spock was shorter than kirk, the paint was oddly tinted and too thick on the heads, The eyes on a lot of Kirks were misaligned, and let's not forget That for some "genius" reason they decided to make most of them con exclusives. I think they made two or three male bodies and just put different heads and rank on them too. They were good, but not great.

I may break down and pick up Kirk if I see him in the wild. I'm more of a 6" scale guy but he might fit in with figures from other franchises.
These actually fit size wise with DST Stargate, and Battlestar figures. Also fit pretty well with the Neca Alien line.

Hey ladies and gents, I know I havent been around at all in recent years, but I stepped away from collecting to focus on other stuff. The McFarlane line and recent DST announcements have brought me back! I was able to snag the new Kirk & Picard and did a little video review (kind of like the old days but now on YouTube!!) Hopefully you give it a watch and companies keep making Trek action figures so I can keep making more reviews!!

Some Walmarts also carry McFarlane up front by the registers. They have a cards and gaming section.

They are probably just in specialty shops to start. Then if they are a hit they will start showing up in bigger stores.
