I've now got my replacement XL Ent-A, previously they sent me a replacement straight away but this time they wouldn't send a replacement until they received the original back first. Not sure if that is general change in policy or just applies to larger value items.

Taking a closer look (no point nit picking over minor details originally when first one had obvious paint damage) apart from the big blue windows on the bottom of the secondary hull there are no indents on the model to indicate where the windows should be. So there are no mis-aligned windows as such. The red circles around the docking ports aren't quite aligned correctly though as there is indent for where they should be.

For me the original Enterprise refit model was the worst in the collection, in fact if it had been the first model instead of the second I likely would never have bothered collecting any of them. I love the Enterprise refit design, it's possibly my favourite design of all the different Enterprise versions. This XL version finally delivers what I had been hoping for. The most baffling thing though which what is generally a very good model is that it is missing the stripes around the edge of the saucer section when this existed on the original regular models. This same issue appears to also occur on the Ent-B from the preview pictures.

The Reliant looks to be the best XL ship by a country mile.

Not yet. The latest addition was the U.S.S. Princeton (issue 126) and the Voyager Bundle.

Any sign of the XL Definat shipping? I've had no notification yet so just waiting.

The Europa looks absolutely fantastic, will be getting that one.

Not yet no, Eaglemoss seem to be consistently optimistic in their shipping estimates for the XLs, the Ent-A was May/June and mine was shipped out on 29th June and arrived 2nd July so I'm not expecting my XL Defiant until end of July at the earliest.

That Reliant XL almost looks in-scale with the DST Constitution Refits... I wonder how it will compare with DSTs version, whenever that drops...

The Europa is pretty sweet, and it's one of a couple of Discovery ships that looks like it could exist in the TOS movies universe.

Does anyone know/remember if Eaglemoss is making this concept study?

Ben said there was some licensing issues with that ship if I remember correctly, and so I think it's current status is in limbo.

So my "Klingon" Bird of Prey arrived today. The model itself is nice enough and it's an interesting design but it doesn't look remotely Klingon. There was no free gift as apparently there was errors on the poster originally planned for this issue so it has been delayed.

Looks like a Goa'Uld death glider if Stargate got re-imagined. And the spirit animal of this thing seems to be a moth more than a bird :D

The model itself has nice details and seems fairly big, just thought the middle blue part was translucent, shame.

It's definitely an interesting design, I look forward to seeing it in person. I feel like it may not have gotten nearly as much hate if it hadn't been a Klingon ship.

Not sure if I'll actually display it or not.

The Voyager prototype looks pretty sweet, loved that design since I first saw it when S1 of VGR debuted. But I can see how they went in a separate direction with the engineering hull -- too streamlined and wouldn't maneuver prettily.
