Godsdaaaayum, that Romulan shuttle is sexy. Stunning design. Pity it came along at the end of the model FX era, or I'm sure it would have seen use with some modification (obfuscation of the windows and doors) as a freighter or transport at a larger scale at some point. It's a beautifully TNG-era romulan design. Quintessential. Love it.

Sigh. If only I could afford to continue the collection! If/when I get me some money, I'll be splurging on the highlights among the issues I've missed. This will be one. The Baxial will not - never liked that ship, though it seems like a fine replica.

My thoughts exactly. The Romulan designs are by far my favourite alien ships from the TNG era (Klingons and Cardassians as well, but Romulans are my favourite). I hate the possibility of that being gone in the new show due to the JJ Supernova thing... :(

Regarding collecting them weekly, I stopped ages ago. There's around ten more that I know of that I'll be getting:

Romulan Shuttle

Cousteau

Peregrine

Voyager's Aeroshuttle

Federation Scoutship

Academy Flight Trainer

Romulan Scoutship from The Defector

Kyushu (New Orleans class)
Jenolan

Xhosa (or sister ship/whatever the name).
Shuttle set 2.

Yeah, the Romulan shuttle will definitely be a hit. And who can forget the awesome entrance that it had on the show?

(Might watch the episode again tonight to reconfirm how awesome it was).

When is the Kyushu coming?

No clue, but judging by the fact we've seen nothing other than the CG model, my guess would be between 100-110. I think it's a safe bet that we'll see it, and find out the remaining ships order at the comic-con panel. :)

EDIT: Saw the Romulan Shuttle was in stock on Eaglemoss' e-shop, and even though I swore I'd never use them again, I couldn't resist. So that, the Calypso and Peregrine are on their way.

Here's a look at the Bajoran Troop Transport (#83 I believe):

This is one I'd definitely get (still might at some point) if I had the room.

Apparently Ben hosted a panel last night right after the Star Trek 50 years panel, and I've seen and heard absolutely nothing about it. No information whatsoever has been posted on any of the sites I frequent - Robster, where you there?

Hopefully Ben posts a recap today on twitter.

No,don't do panels anymore. I did go by the EM booth, which I think I mentioned in the SDCC thread, but Ben wasn't there at the time. Talked with two other guys, who were kinda clueless, lol, but fun to talk with nonetheless.

The Cousteau and Romulan Shuttle arrived yesterday (Peregrine was apparently out of stock...typical Eaglemoss), and they're both lovely, especially the Vreenak Shuttle. Not that I need to, but I'll post some photos later - the usual Defiant size comparison, and with the Runabout. I highly recommend both, but especially the Romulan Shuttle. :)

I'm not understanding the out for stock for subscribers, I can go to any retail store online and they have many in stock but I join the "club" and  owner the refit is out of stock even though I been charged. Makes me angry. Now I will destroy Vulcan.

Lololol.

I recently ordered the 2 new plaques and the ISS NX-01 together; the plaques shipped already but now I feel like I've waited forever for the ISS...then yesterday their system sends me one of those "did you forget something?" emails featuring the ISS NX-01.  *Picard facepalm*...I'll bring the red matter.

The Cousteau is simple but effective. The Vreenak Shuttle is hand's down my favourite alien ship in the collection now - it's absolutely stunning (something I know my pictures won't convey in the slightest). Drexler seems to be two for two now with his ships that he's overseen in this collection (this, and the NX-01R). I'd say that bodes well for people who are looking forward to the Enterprise-J. :)

I give that photo album top marks for being hosted on imgur and for the contrast-enhancement editing! Well done, sir!

Hot damn, those models are excellent. I love the detail on the Cousteau, it's an excellent model in its own right, but it's definitely outshone by the Romulan Shuttle.
