This thing is insane to me, $599 for a die cast 1/350 scale Enterprise with lights? Absolute steal. Wish I liked the original gal enough to justify trying to get one.

Would really love for it to meet its crowd funding goal, so they could make this and maybe other ships.

If not TOS Enterprise, what incarnation of our beloved 1701 would you like to see produced?

If it was the Refit, they'd already have my money, although TOS Enterprise is calling to me....

My thoughts exactly if this were the D i would seriously consider getting it but TOS I like it but not that much.

Well it looks like they met their target.  Honestly I hope the next one they do is a smaller fan favorite design like the Akira, Equinox or Prometheus.

Ordered mine and put the CC down to seal the deal.   I've got a year to figure out how to sneak this past my wife.  Wish me luck.

Anyone else pull the trigger on the TOMY TOS Enterprise?

I didn't but I'd pull the trigger if they do the refit, hoping they did since it was one of the surveyed ships.

I wasn't even aware they did a survey.  What were the other ships?

D7

SNW Enterprise

Refit

You were asked to rank the order in which youd like to see one. I went refit, SNW, D, and D7.

Alteran,

I voted the same way. I am very fond of the SNW Enterprise, but my heart will always be with the refit

OAD

Well, it's finally going to start shipping. Here are some pics of the finished production model that people who backed it will be getting.

Looks really good, part of me wishes I would have backed it but I ultimately don't have room, and am holding out for a SNW or Refit at similar size. When they were working on their BTTF Delorean 1/10 model, they did say the next Trek ship is in early stages of development.

I've been hearing a lot of backlash about seam placement and screw covers. They had promised they'd do it seamlessly, but they released a statement recently saying that was unachievable at the price... but the choices of where to put the seams and how to conceal the screws are... not great after a promise like that.

Still looks amazing, and I love the touch-panel functionality, but it stings.

Reminds me a bit of the controversy their BTTF Delorean had when the prototype had colored wires, but they initially said the production car wouldnt. Cause a big backlash from backers since they said that after the campaign had started, but in the end managed to get colored wires to work at its price point.

I think the seams look pretty fine here, screw covers look good too for being screw covers. Seems better than DSTs meh attempt at them.

Overall for the price, Id be happy with it and I look forward to their next ship. Hoping for a Refit.

I agree the backlash is a bit much, and I hope it doesn't sour them on doing more ships.

That definitely looks worth the price, really nicely detailed model and the lighting looks great. Only wish there was some way to have AC power.

Cant wait for their next ship, hope its the refit.

Got mine last week!  Its a thing of beauty!  Sure, there are some visible seams, but at this price point ($600) it is acceptable.  The lighting is mesmerizing.  I'm hoping that the  response to TOS Enterprise prompts TOMY to produce the 1701 refit.  Would buy that in a heartbeat.  I would also be sleeping in the garage when my wife finds out....
