DST need to get their act together and focus on just one or two lines of product (ships and props) and then market them better.

Just goes to show how bad DST are at how they get their product out there when companies like QMX and Mezco are running away with hugely successful Star Trek lines.

The mind boggles over why DST are so bad at this.

I don't care if it costs me $500 or $600 to buy that Franklin model, it will be mine!!! It looks smaller than their older artisan models so here's hoping the price will reflect that.

QMX 1/6 figure showing is awesome. From what I can make out new there is: TOS McCoy, Scotty,Sulu and a captains chair. TWOK Kirk and Spock, TNG Picard, Data and Worf. And Beyond Kirk. I'm very excited!!!

. The only one that looked bad was Worf. The rest were well done.

Actually,Spock is kinda off too. He kinda reminds me of Spock in that beer ad some years ago, lol! But that could be just the display one. I sure hope so.

And start saving for that gorgeous Franklin. 600 bucks? You must be joking! Try closer to 6000. It's made in America, and a high end collectible. The others are made in China, like that Falcon, which is also really good btw,and therefore much cheaper.

And of course, after another great chat with Bob,and this other guy,I'm VERY happy about some stuff that I've been wanting for years! Non Trek stuff,so not for you guys, lol! The other guy even showed me some pics on his phone, but it's a couple of years away. But hey,if I can wait three years for a frickin' Enterprise-J from EM,I can sure wait for this. It's LiS related. And if you're a Questairan, like me,they will make you even more happy!

Surely that Franklin can't be $6,000??? It's way smaller than the larger artisan models!

Maybe 5,000,if we're lucky. It's because it's made in America,or so they told me,while the others are made in China, and anything made in China is a lot cheaper. He told me the artisan models are towards 10,000 now, since I said exactly the same thing you said, lol! VERY pricey for such a small ship,no matter how gorgeous it is! High end collectible indeed.

The Worf 1:6 looks horrible. Everything else looks really good. I know that most are just prototypes for gnomic Von so they will get better.
FYI: my 1:6 Kirk has shipped from QMX. I'll post pics when he gets in.

Thats such a shame about the Franklin being that much money. I wonder why they don't produce the Star Trek stuff over in China too.

Well you can always buy the br gift set of ST Beyond with the Farnklin. Don't know if it's a QMx ship or how big it is though.

Oh I have that on pre order already.

It's a QMx ship but it's a miniature version similar to the Futurama ship Alteran posted up.

Seeing how great JMW326's Kirk was I just had to have him. In natural light his tunic is gold but inside under florescent lighting it is a very light green. I have read that's how it was on the show. More shots to follow. He is the best Kirk ever IMO

I agree that shot of him holding the Enterprise is epic... I collect 1/6 scale, mainly Marvel with the odd bit of DC & SW from Hot Toys, gonna have to have a look how is best to get a QMx figure in the UK, I might have to "borrow" your pose too, which Enterprise model is that?
