The Star Trek III line is cool, but compared with todays stuff its sadly lacking but still cool. In 1987, i was fresh out of the military and walked into a K&K toystore and found a whole case of these for $1 each, and thats what motivated me to begin my adult collection of Star Trek. Yes, i had the Mego's and several other things back in the 70's but this was the beginning of my serious collecting life. I have bought and sold a lot of stuff since then, even sold off my entire collection a couple times in the 90's but i always end up collecting again, its just an ingrained thing in me. Why fight it?

This STTSFS line is almost better as TWOK line except for the klingon, which does not resemble Kruge much at all. Its just a generic Klingon, no cape, weapon or anything.

It's not too brittle. The arms have a slight rubbery feel to them. I wouldn't go so far as to say they are good quality either though. Kinda like Dapol's Doctor Who stuff....

So Sallah, do you think that the heads might be interchangeable? So if you were to get a bunch of WOK figures and TMP, to get a more full crew in the red uniform? I was thinking of that with some Buck Rogers figures, to atleast fill in some random TMP crewmembers...
Thanks for the review(s)

Even though the ERTL ST3 figures are not nearly as nice as i would have liked them to be, they hold a special place in my heart because back in 1987 they were the first items i bought that started me on the road as a serious collector.
