Id prefer that to getting full bridge crews honestly. Id love full bridge crews eventually, but since there are some captains we havent seen, Id want them first.

Jason Isaacs performance really was a standout in S1. Him and Michelle Yeoh's Capt/Empress Georgiou would be my main wants for DISCO at this point.

In an odd reversal... that Kirk actually looks pretty good.. but Picard looks off to me.

I'd take those for free, if only to check out the quality.
Man, I miss Star Trek Minimates.

Again, the only Star Trek-Figures on display are Kirk and Picard. But on the back on the package is some advertising for Burnham, Spock and the Discovery-Phaser to be seen. That might be the reason for the delay of Kirk and Picard; after cancelling the Phaser, they now have to change the package.

Welp, Kirk & Picard finally landed in my BBTS loot pile. But I won't be shipping for a little bit longer...

Looking forward to seeing some reviews on these figures, especially how they scale with previous Trek lines and others.

A first video-review has surfaced. It's a bit lackluster, but it shows the articulation for the most part. And Picard seems to fit into the DST command-chair, Sybeck. Here it is:

Scale problems already, I see. Kirk should be taller than Picard, not the other way around. With digital sculpting I'm not sure why this can't be quickly checked and easily corrected, assuming the problem is at that stage. Todd will probably blame shrinkage.

Maybe it was just the video quality, but the faces looked weirdly plain?

the faces do look weird... also... Picards torso seems a bit elongated to me.

I didn't like Picards face sculpt at all, but I did like the Kirk one. To me the articulation on these looks pretty terrible though, it's like there was no attempt at all to hide it. I'd like to see these in person, but at first look I feel pretty good passing on these. Now if they make something that AA/DST never got around to I may have to consider it.
