i'm sooooo excited about season 1 Picard but i'm dancing around for beardless Riker!!!!!! I really never thought we would see season 1 figures Tasha here we come, I can feel it in me bones! LL

Where is a pic of the beardless Riker? I only see a Picard with chair.

That's cool, so how is DST releasing the beardless Riker? As an exclusive?

Wild idea. Maybe the S.1 Riker will come with a S.1 varient on the Captain's chair, a la the Pike figure.

Hey Artistix!!! He does have the "bum" chin I have no idea how to post a picture but if you will adjust the brightness level of it you will see that the flash from the picture is masking the "bum" chin AA nailed beardless Riker that's why i'm so very happy about this figure. Playmates, eat your heart out. LL

I would loooove to see a 2-pack with Tasha...though I think it would be kinda cool if Tasha came with Data or Pulaski.

But I would take his chair over any of the other characters....I would really like to see Riker & Troi's chairs join Picards so we can have the little command section.

So according to this the Picard in chair is supossed to be out in August. That will be pretty cool if it makes it.

August wow! I would be pleasently suprised if that turns out to be true. I plan on getting this one and S1 Riker if released but i'm not sure about other S1 crew members.

Pilot Episode Troi & her chair
Data & Tasha (since they um, had a fling)
Pulaski & Worf (since she saved his life with the spine operation)
Geordi & Crusher (since they're the only 2 left )

I have to say that I would have much rather gotten a FC or Nemesis (full uniform not the vest) Picard with the Enterprise-E command chair instead of this one. I know I am probably in the minority here but I like the E-E bridge and black and grey uniforms much better then the first season stuff. Maybe we will get lucky and they will eventualy do both.

^^ I totally agree with you on that one. An Enterprise-E command chair with Picard would have been great as I don't see DST continuing the Season 1 TNG figures sadly.

I would defintiely prefer the E-E chair, but I think we will see that. I'm sure this chair will sell well, leading to more chair releases. I'd definitely like to see that, especially the E-E and Defiant chairs. But the only way I would buy a Voyager command chair is if they had both Janeway's and Chakotay's seats together, with that computer terminal in between them. It's an unique setup and I think the whole setup needs to be seen to also set it apart from the other releases.

I don't know. I actually liked the bridge on the TV series better. While I don't much care for the S.1 uniform, I did want the S.7 chair which is what we have here. The bridge from the the Enterprise-E was nice, but ultimately kinda boring. I mean, its like every other bridge we've ever seen in science fiction. Dark, cramped, and war-like. I liked the ceremonial feel of the Enterprise-D bridge. It always struck me as a fitting bridge for a ship of exploration and diplomacy. Bright, specious, and dignified. It was just a very different approach to the future, and I rather liked it.

The Voyager idea is really cool.

Whilst they can easily make a variant Janeway, I'm not sure what they'd do for Chacotay....his look never really altered did it?

They don't really have to include another Chakotay, just a Janeway variant would do. That way, they won't have to adjust the price to include another figure. The other side of it can just be concealed with box art so you don't see an empty chair.
