Creation Entertainment has the following listed for 2007

London, UK
5-Jan-07 - Official Star Trek Con

Minneapolis, MN
4-May-07 - Official Star Trek Con

Las Vegas
9-Aug-07 - Official Star Trek Con

Sacramento, CA
28-Sep-07 - Official Star Trek Con

Chicago, IL
30-Nov-07 - Official Star Trek Con

What other offical Trek Convetions are happening in 2007?

Obviously Las Vegas sound like the big one, I'll probably just do a day pass to that one. Then depending on who's going to be in Sacramento I could drive over for the day to that one too as it's about a 2 hour drive.

But since we've been kinda talking about convention stuff I thought maybe a thread here would be a good place to collect information.

How I miss the days when there was ALWAYS a Star Trek convention going on somewhere near where you lived. But I guess those are the glory days.

I haven't been to a convention since May of 2001. 3 days after VOYAGER ended I went to see Kate Mulgrew, Roxann Dawson, and a few others like the lady who played Ensign Wildman and the hologram lover of Capt. Janeway from the Fair Haven program (who both sucked because they didn't know anything about anything) in Cleveland, OH.

Are any coming to the East Coast?

I seriously seriously miss Star Trek Conventions from the early 90s
I only went to two but I know of at least 3 total that came to my town.

I don't want to go to one that's like a comic con or for everything, but JUST Star Trek

can anyone tell me what these conventions are like? Who's going to be there?

You know, it would be nice if they would have a convention at least in the state that I live in. But nooooo, they have to be fifty million miles away. I still have yet to go to a Trek convention, simply because I have never had the opportunity. I have somehow managed ST:TE, but not a convention. mad.gif

Here's the info on the Sacramento con in September Goro. I tried to click on it and it doesn't seem like tickets are on sale yet. I would try calling this number, (818) 409-0960 ext. 225 between the hours of 9:30am - 3pm Pacific Time. I hope this helps you out wink.gif

I get newsletters from them, so I can let you know when they start putting them on sale. Let me know if I can help or give you a heads up, it's not a problem wink.gif

Well... I thought about this last year and didn't do it, but this year I will go at least one day to the Vegas Convention. It's just so close... I can usually get round trip airfare from Reno to Vegas for about $100. So it's really cheaper for me to just Fly down for the day, and fly back that night.

I'll just have to figure out the best day to go and buy a ticket at the door. It's just so easy, I've done it before, where I just wlak from the airport to the MGM Mono-rail station and it takes you right to the Convention center/Hilton.

Y'know... I could probably talk my wife into going to the Chicago one. We'll need a new trip planned for pizza at some point! Does anyone have any info on that, or plan on going from this board? I've only been to two Trek conventions, and that was before I was really all that interested in Trek. I really just went for the comics back then.

I better start saving money now!
