I really hope so because the alternative would be that they just dont care. The COC Data is a big change from the other waves. To be honest its a worse matching of the color from the show. Ive resigned myself to this line having a wide array of colors. Did the playmates line change the plastic color for the uniform color and paint on the black or vice versa?

No. Say what you will about Playmates' many flaws, but the color was a lot more consistent in their lines. Not perfect, but much less noticeable.

As a mass-market line dealing in the quantities that they did, they were probably able to stay with one factory and thus get a consistent product.

Every time I see Beverly now on screen, I can't help but think of Artistix.............and I've even been noticing her hair dos! roflmao.gif

Awww.....wait, is that a good thing or a bad thing?? biggrin.gif

I can tell exactly what point in the series we are at by one look at Bevs hair....which seemed to change every 10 or so episodes.

It would be near impossible for the name Shinzon to pass my way without a thought for Jules...& I've even started noticing that he is quite a good looking chap.

I am really hoping that Crushers outfit is the same colour as that of Troi...but I highly doubt it.

^^^Hehehehe! I wondered when you'd cotton on to the delights of Tom Hardy! I did during the dinner scene.............it's the eyes and the lips! The lips in particular.........and the crooked teeth are very sexy!

I watched TNG Rascals last night and was thinking about you again. Being an expert, you'll know that Bev's hair went completely straight about three episodes before (and the Titian blonde suits her much better than that horible loud red she had in the beginning!), and Troi is sporting some kind of pig tail that doesn't suit her at all. Talking of pig tails, I keep waiting for Worf's hair to become that que that looks a whole lot better than the 'page boy' look. I thought that transformation happened a lot earlier on in TNG!

Or as Brent Spiner used to call it the Donna Reed hair laugh.gif Like you Jules, I prefer the pony tail-long haired look. It seemed more fittiing for a warrior, but still better than the first few season tongue.gif

I thought Troi's hair looked best in the ponytail, which I just saw her sporting in Descent Part 1 & 2.

Beverly did look much better with lighter hair...& I think the best styles were seen in Sub Rosa & Generations, that sorta do. I didn't think she looked too good in the first few episodes of S3.

I thought B'Elannas hair was a little tame for a half Klingon....though she did hate her Klingon side for quite a while.
From memory, didn't she go the crimped style for a few episodes?

1) Troi's hair ROCKED when it was in the style of the ponytail-ish 'do. I thought it was very becoming on her!

2) I liked Beverly's hair best in the beginning of the third season. Short and wavy.

3) B'Elanna had crimped hair for all of season 6... or 5. Either way it was for a whole season and I thought it looked great. A way to give her a slightly different style than Captain Janeway's.

This thread comforts me, whenever I would mention the color green/blue issue to someone else they would say they never noticed. I thought I was going crazy. tongue.gif

I think thats kinda how she's wearing it now....& it looks very cool:

Oh my. ohmy.gif

Gates McFadden looks OLD! She looks older than she did in the future of "All Good Things..."! I like her, but she didn't age well. sad.gif

So what colour is the sky in your worlds? I realize this is off topic, but so is a discussion on the various hair styles and colours of the female actors.
