I am at it again!! This time it's a kit bash of several models to make one crazy one!!
I am going to attempt to build my interpretation of what the Enterprise F may look like using various available kits.
So far I am using the 1/1400 Enterprise E model from AMT, a 1/677 USS Voyager by Revell, and just to spice things up.... A 1/500 JJ Enterprise!!!
I actually have a pretty cool design in hand and have begun construction.
In my take, the Quasar Class, Enterprise F, is from the early 25th Century and boasts amazing technological advancements.
The primary and secondary hulls will be heavily modified versions of Voyager with Enterprise E parts woven in.... The nacelles will, here it comes.... That's right.... Will be modified JJPRISE engines!!
I will post pics soon!!

I'm pretty excited to see this.
I have an image in mind of what it might look like based on your description, and look forward to see how well it matches the actual finished product.

I finished the nacelles ... They are painted and detailed so I could get an idea of my paint scheme for the ship. Since this is a 25th Century ship I want it to represent a new era for starships.. It's going to have some interesting design elements.

Do you guys want me to post photo updates to show progress or would you rather just see the final product? Let me know.... I have pictures of the completed Nacelles.
Progress shots, I love me some progress shots.

The "blue" is actually a light ghost gray.... The camera made it look blue.

Thanks Alteran....
The windows, and the indented windows, are all going to be puttied and sanded in with Aves modeling putty. Tinier, and many more windows, will be added to make this ship look bigger than the Sovereign and Galaxy classes. The large Voyager Lifeboats will be sanded off and 1/1400 Scale Sovereign Class Life boats will be added in a unique configuration..... The Phaser strips on the Primary hull are going to continue back to the rear of the saucer for full weapons coverage and to give the ship a new look.
I'm debating if I will leave the large sensor palette on the top of the saucer above the secondary deflector array; I love the shape of the sensor but I kind of want to get away from the Voyager look to a certain extent. The secondary deflector will stay but will not have the deflector in place, instead it will be a transphasic weapon nicknamed the " Borg Buster"....
The aft weapons bay on the back neck of Voyager will be cut out and a new single Impulse Engine will be added.... I will maybe add an aft torpedo launcher on the underside of the aft section.
Obviously the ship will have a unique paint job. The scale of this ship will be 1/1400 so its definitely larger than the NCC-1701-D, and NCC1701-E.
Also.... this is going to be crazy difficult but I'm going to reduce the odd hump on the aft neck of Voyager so the aft saucer is more sleek.
The entire bridge is going to be removed from the Voyager body and replaced with the Sovereign Bridge along with it's B and C decks.

This is a VERY rough sketch of where I think the nacelles will be placed in relation to the body from an upper view.....

Looks good, the nacelles seem to be in a good place in relation to the rest of the ship.
I'm curious if you plan on doing anything with the...shape...(Sensor palette?) on the front of Voyagers saucer. The only reason I ask is because I feel that is a very Intrepid class thing, and having it just be a smooth hull there could make it more unique, and less obviously a kit bash.
Either way I think it looks pretty good.

As far as the sensor palette goes, I'm not sure what I am doing yet.

okay...... Here is the unpainted new engine design..... I extended the shroud to function like armor over the bussard and elongated and tapered the back of the nacelle.

Yeah that's a lot better in my opinion.

Thanks Jay K ..... There will be a blue warp grille running along the side of the outer nacelles. The Armor Shroud will be painted a darker grey and the bussard and the louver slats will be purple.
Looks less "TOS" in my opinion and as a friend said, " it won't look like two "doomsday machines' mounted on nacelle pylons." LOL
