[NCC-1701]

Hey Guys,

I browsed and browsed and maybe I missed it. But, I think that DST is releasing a Kirk in chair from 'Trouble with the Tribbles'.

I was browsing Amazon and I came across it. Here's the link.

Yup, it's an Amazon exclusive. It was orignally scheduled for release earlier this year, but guess what? It was delayed!

I ordered a regular deluxe Kirk with chair and plan on putting some tribbles from the old T&T DS9 figures with the chair.

Thanks for the reminder! I just placed my order for this. I hadn't seen a photo before either. My order states it will ship in the beginning of August.. I give it until July '10. I'd say that I would actually expect this to be cancelled eventually if it weren't Kirk.

*Sigh* Delayed till September. I'm getting really exasperated with DST waiting till the last minute to delay things. It's getting to the point where you can be sure on the originally announced release date of an item that it will be delayed rather than released that day.

With the way things are being delayed, which will come out first between this, wave 5, the Salt Vampire, the Romulans, and the Romulan Kirk/Spock 2 Pack is anybody's guess.

To be quite honest, they have NEVER released something on the date originally posted. Can anyone think of one where they did?

What about TWOK figures. Were they not released on time? Other than that I can't think of a signle item!

I got some letter from Amazon a week or two back asking me to confirm that I still wanted this because of the delay. I had to go to their site and click a button saying so. I'm not sure I've ever had to do that before (then again, no one does delays like DST ).

The Picard and Troi wave was actually out early.

They seem to be able to get these TRU waves out before most of us realize what's going on.

I dont think the TRU waves count because they are never given a true release date. All the rest I simply dont remember. Has this Kirk w/ Chiar even been finalized with whats going to be inside?

The Re-release 2-packs came out on time. I don't remember them getting delayed at all.

According to that sticker, they didn't even bother changing the chair sounds to be episode-specific. That's pretty disappointing.

Well I see no tribbles and no exclusive phrases listed. Is that an annoyed Kirk head though or just a glare?

They could just be packaged in a baggy behind or under the chair. It probably wouldn't be the best idea to just toss them in and let them fly. We should probably wait until we know for sure if they are or aren't in there before jumping to arms.
