I saw the prototype for the Q figure today at the Baltimore Comicon. They have added a communicator to his uniform, otherwise it looked like the photos we've been seeing.

Nice michael! Thanks for the info. Any word on the exclusive Troi?

-EDIT-

Never mind ... I saw your post about Troi in that topic. Sorry.

I would say that the face of Q is one of the better ones. In robes would be nice. Oh well maybe in the future.

I don't think we'll see a Judge Q.

It seems DST find the figures bulky enough without robes & cloaks (ie: Regent Worf).

I think he looks pretty good too. I noticed the comm badge on the convention pics...though I assumed they would do that at some point.

I'm still intrigued as to what his accessories will be.

Will he even have accessories? I mean, can you think of something that he used at some point. I can't. Although I can image DST giving us some hands - especially one in the clicking pose just as he is about to use his powers.

He'll have to come with something...

Probably random things like a fencing sword & a gavel....maybe some puppies or a baby Q.

There are plenty of wierd & wonderful things the guy conjured up.

Yes, I suppose there are now that you've mentioned a few. It'll be great if he does come with some stuff. But they'll have to be pretty inventive, I just can't remember anything that he did use or produce. But that will just make it all the more fun when I get him. smile.gif

I didn't notice a difference. But I think it's because of the slightly smaller scale the women are in compared to the men.

Her smaller build would make the comm badge look larger than that of Worf & Riker.

But if it is actually oversized...we'll be able to tell! biggrin.gif

Perhaps Q's badge is too small??

Geordi & Barclay seem to be more around the size of Beverly's...but they are smaller men.

Playmates 9" figures had some whopping great comm badges!!

Not as big as the comm badge that you were supposed to wear. I am refering to the "trek tech" communicator, it was huge, and the walkie talkie was even bigger...

Because these are prototypes Goro wink.gif I'm thinking that Q's com badge was a add on, since everyone pointed this out when the SDCC(San Diego Comicon) pics hit the sites. I really didn't pay attention to this on my Troi figure, but is her com badge smaller than the boys? That would give us a early indicator whether the rest of the females will have smaller or larger com badges mellow.gif

As far as I can tell Troi's combadge isn't any different to the guys. But I've only got the Nemesis bunch, so the combadge is different.

Ah ha, I ALSO now have the Nemesis 2-pack! biggrin.gif

Troi & Rikers comm badges do seem to be the same size...more or less.
Rikers may be slightly smaller.
