First off, does anybody know if a 1990s Playmates 4.5 inch figure would fit in the cockpit of an old Galileo Shuttle?
Second, how much do they go for on eBay and is it worth getting?

the shuttle was designed for the 4.5 figures so they will fit. I argue that the 3.75 figures from the 2009 film actually scale better with it.

I'm going to have to try that, but I would think that a Galoob shuttle is too small to fit a playmates figure from the 90's adequately.

Thanks everyone, I've been trying to add to my fleet and it looked like it "might" fit a 4.5 incher in the cockpit. Sure it would be inaccurate, but still good as cargo carrier. And talking of the Galileo, do you know weather the Ferengi Marauder could fit any of the 4.5 inch Playmates Ferengi (Accept Nog of course).

Here are some photos to give you an idea of the scale difference.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! That is what I precisely was after! In addition, does the door close? Or is it jarred open? Thanks again.

I Didn't try but it's possible you might be able to get the door to close, it could possibly risk breaking the hinge or rubbing against the figure. The Playmates figure takes up both seats, each leg has to go under the console in front of each seat. It does look way out of place in the shuttle. I think if I were going to display this with Playmates figures I would use the size difference to my advantage and create a shuttle bay scene with this shuttle in the background with the Galoob figures creating a forced perspective effect.

lol!

The photos are strongly reminding me of "Time Squared"!

Watch out, big Picard! Tiny Picard is going to act totally out-of-character and shoot you! And the script is going to make no sense!

Hillarious VorlonKosh! I wonder weather Worf would have a similar reaction trying to squeeze into the Goddard's "Seat Belt"...

Destructor!!!, I read (don't know where I heard this so don't ask me for a source) that it was going to be the Borg that destroyed the Enterprise not "The Mobius", and that it was Q who flung Picard back in time, as Q felt that they dissevered a chance to save themselves in the original script. But of course it was heavily revised and ended up as the Times Squared we know now, hence the ever so slightly out of character Picard.

Back on topic however, thanks for all the info. Does the Ferengi ship fit Quark or any of the 4.5 inch Ferengi?

Oh wow...don't know if I've ever seen good pics of that Galoob shuttle before! Very cool s8film40.

Wouldn't mind getting one. But the next shuttle on my list is Playmates Orinoco.

Any idea on the Ferengi shuttle and weather Quark or another Ferengi fig could fit in it?
