Saw a bunch of the Walgreens 3PO's at my local Walgreens, no Sabines anywhere though.

Just got Sabine off BBTS. At least I hope I did, it went to sold out after I placed the order. Hoping I just got the last one.

Ashoka is pretty awesome, she's the reason I ended up buying Kanan, and want Sabine. Need to get all the Rebels.

Darth Revan is a maybe for me, I never really played much of KOTOR so don't care as much about him.

I got Sabine Wren today. She really is a great figure. Hasbro is really knocking the rebels figures out of the park.

While not 6 inch, saw these today from Hasbro for the 40th anniversary.

Would it really have been too much to ask for DST or some other company to do something like this for the TOS cast for Treks 50th?

Could you of imagined the five(or six) captains? That would of been fantastic.

But no...

Star Trek of course doesn't sell.... what a load of sh*t

All the captains in their chairs with back drops of their bridges behind them? Ya, no one would buy that.

I would seriously have loved it if Hasbro would have jumped on Star Trek with enthusiasm while they were knocking releases out of the park with the fully articulated VINTAGE ORIGINAL TRILOGY COLLECTION. If Star Trek: Discovery builds enough interest to warrant new figures, I could see one of four things happening.

1- Hasbro gives us 6" Black Series type figures, 3 3/4" scale 5 POA figures and Nerf gun ships, Hasbro also does those smaller 2" scale figures which would probably be more likely.

2 - Mattel does 6" figures similar to their D.C. Comics figures, maybe smaller scale figures and Megabloks Mega Contrux sets.

3 - DST does what they do.

4 - Plamates goes back to the drawing board and rekindles the fire they had in the 90s with the 4.5" line. Similarly to TMNT.

I think option 4 would be my favorite if they follow TMNT plan. Playmates were my favorite. Their Simpsons World of Springfield line was the best with interactive playsets and figures.

That's crazy talk! I mean no one likes Star Trek so no one would buy it surely.

In an ideal world....

Playmates would return to Star Trek with their 4 inch line incorporating classic Star Trek, Kelvin Timeline Star Trek and Star Trek: Discovery.

Lego would launch an extensive range of Star Trek sets and video games spanning 50 years worth of Star Trek.

QMx would continue to develop high end collectibles

Eaglemoss would continue to develop part works for collectors.

I like your suggestions as well so long as DST keeps the Star Ships and role play trickling out. I wouldn't mind if they did these in conjunction with Playmates to fast track these. It would also be a dream to see what DST could bring to a bridge playset and see that combined with what Playmates did in their recent TMNT playsets.
