What's the story on that Aventine?  I neglected to order it from their shop pre-NYCC in that package deal, thinking it would show up soon enough...but for some reason BBTS still hasn't listed it and yet today they even put up that glow Defiant...

//EDIT:

Nevermind, I see the single ship is up there now but it says "Shop Exclusive" (so that explains it) and you can't even use promos on it.

//EDIT2:

That triggers another question.  It also says "shop exclusive" for the shuttle set #3...  but BBTS has that up (and at a lower cost than them as well)...  Is it really shop exclusive, and my BBTS order will get canceled on me some day?

Shuttle Set 3 arrived for me yesterday, bit earlier than expected.

Type 11 is wonderful, Argo pretty good. Haven't opened the other two yet, but they look fine.

Jumbo NX-01 arrived today and I must say it looks a lot nicer in person. Its all diecast apart from the nacelles, its a heavy mother. Really nicely detailed and big!

Cant wait for the Voyager

Forgot to mention, I too received Shuttle Set 3, and they're all wonderful. Mine arrived pristine - not a single blemish, wonky nacelle or decal. I scratched my Type 11 a tiny tiny bit, whilst trying to 'dock' it to the Federation Scout, but some would argue I've only made it look more accurate (perhaps if it was rubbed against some grass and soil as well lol).

These are the first models I've bought from Eaglemoss in a while, and I now can't wait to get the big Voyager. That collecting bug really is never too far away!

Picked up a couple of Springfield classes from my local newsagent this morning. Another hit for me and yet another of the BOBW designs that considering it was kitbashed actually looks like a very resolved design. Also, no wonky nacelles this time round, on either of the two I got.

Gents, it's pretty amazing that we're getting the Probert concept Enterprise C, I've loved that concept painting for ages, never thought we'd get an actual model out of it.

Also, I missed the news of the Cheyenne and Springfield already being on sale, ordered the Chekov just today. Just got a Jenolan a couple of days ago, great work on that one.

I was just thinking yesterday: Is the SS Lakul in the works? It was so hard to tell from watching Generations what the hell those transport ships looked like, but they're kind of a major item it seems. I know Ben has mentioned that they'll be getting to the Merchantman from Search for Spock, etc. I still have a very vague idea of what the Lakul looks like from all angles.

Now its going to 150 I'd think its likely. It was a CG model but being so early I suspect it would have to be rebuilt for EM.

One I'd like though.

Concepts: Ben has verbally confirmed the Phase II Enterprise concept (not news per se) and the Sternbach Voyager concept, which if you recall is the long-nacelled study model that was physically built.

Some other concepts I'd personally love to see: four-nacelled Excelsior study model, Nebula from Sisko's office, Soyuz already (jeez, c'mon), and most importantly, none of those horrible DS9 kitbashes with Voyager hulls and Constitution-class nacelles.

Also, I think we have yet to get to all the JJAbrams starfleet ships.

The Nostromo's up on both the UK and US stores (same price as a jumbo). This'll be my first large Eaglemoss ship; can't wait! :)

Not sure if this will work on the US store, but you can use COMIC17 right now on the UK store, to get 20% off. This will apparently last until November 17th, and it knocked the price of the Nostromo down to £39.99.

At 20cm long that's going to be quite a sizeable model.

Bodes well for the squatter proportions of the Defiant resulting in a chunky jumbo edition which surely can't be far away given how fast they are pumping the jumbo Trek stuff out.

I know! I'm anxiously waiting for Ben to show the first picture of it. :)

Also hoping that Voyager appears on the store before that code runs out. lol

The US Shop excludes most everything - at least newer shop exclusives and special editions - from discount codes now.  The only way to get a discount on those from Eaglemoss is when they have 5% off sales.  Yea!  Maybe they will have a better deal on Black Friday.  Otherwise, BBTS seems to have some models at prices less than Eaglemoss.

Anyone else get an email from Eaglemoss today asking them to take part in a short survey of a few new Star Trek concepts?

9cm figurines (similar to Dr Who)
Busts
Large scale model of the Enterprise D - studio scale partworks

A decent sized Enterprise D would be incredible, fully detailed and painted and just needing assembly

For some reason all I got this month was 107, the wings-down BoP... I did actually get 105 and 106 last month.

And also...if they sent me that survey they'd get it back with "yes plz" written everywhere and every box checked! But man....that DeLorean kit a few years back was looking real pricey. Did that ever happen? Was that Eaglemoss? Hopefully it wouldn't be that pricey. A TNG bridge would be an interesting curio, I'd fall for that scheme!

The Delorean is a current thing you can subscribe to, and the end result is over $1000 spent if I remember right.

The UK price for the DeLorean is £1,168 which is completely insane but honestly if they offered this build the Ent-D even if it cost well over £1,000 I'd be strongly tempted to buy it anyway.

It sounds like they are considering doing this, and even though the sensible part of me would say it would be crazy to collect it my heart would say I NEED to buy it:-

I don't know if I'd subscribe for the D since it isn't really a favorite of mine, but I'd more than likely subscribe for Voyager, the E, the Refit, or even the NX-01.
