Yeah they a bit on the rare said. In part for the amount made and in part in the fact that owners seem to not sell them as much as some of the other figures.

Is this the same for the 'Piece of the Action' & 'City on the Edge of Forever' figures? or are they more readily available?

I picked up Edith Keeler years ago, though I believe she was in regular assortments & would doubtfully be rare.

The "Piece of the Action" and "City on the edge of Forever" figures were KB toys exclusives and produced in quantities of either 5000 or 7500, i forget which right now, and retailed originally for $39.99 USD. The shelock holmes Data and Geordi figures were Target exclusives with limited quantities as well. I believe Edith Keeler and Trelane "The Squire of Gothos" were exclusives at KB toys as well, about the same time as the "Amok Time" Kirk and Spock were released as exclusives for Kb as well. These last four figures were on clearance on KBtoys.com for a few years afterward for like 5 bucks each until they finally ran out of them.

Well as always since the start of Ebay rare just is not want it used to be. There is only one figure that I have never seen on Ebay, and that is the Dathon with a Pog. Other then that, Rare means waiting an extra day for someone to put one up for sale. biggrin.gif

Which is very comforting.

Before I started with eBay I had a terrible time finding anything....mainly due to my living in a little hick Aussie town!

May the Gods bless you & keep you with us eBay laugh.gif
