Damn, that is nice.

Looks spot-on to the studio model! I hope any future replicas of the ship (CGI or physical) will be able to use this CAD model as a resource! (Lookin' at you, Diamond Select Toys!)

Absolutely! With any luck, this could finally be the end of that wretched old model.

The reason for Round 2 tooling this new kit is because the original kits molds broke after the 2nd or 3rd run from them. That kit is history lol.
According to Round 2s blog, this one was tooled after the miniature.

So yeah, three of them. One to practise on, one to customise/practise some more, and one to light up.

EDIT: The back of those nacelles...just perfect!

That model is just gorgeous, I may have to pick one up depending on how my latest project turns out.

Some box-art (top left):

Sisko on the box (finally being acknowledged on the level of Kirk and Picard - albeit in this small way) is really nice. :D

Bonus, here's the box for the Grissom and BoP (top right):

Never thought Id see a big model company like Revell release a model of the Grissom.

The Defiant is going to be a very tempting purchase.

Loving the new box-art designs. The standard CBS mandated box art was getting *super* stale.
