It's actually an NYCC exclusive. He will officially be available starting Friday, but I don't know how the seller managed to snag an early one.

The guy seems to have excellent feedback on ebay, but I noticed that he is in the UK. So he must be pegging it over to the US for a quick buyout and bringing them back to the UK.

Oh, oh...

The figure inside the bubble looks exactly like the prototype, they have shown around.

No zipper on the front of the uniform, strange color of the shoulders... (That will be an ugly standout displayed with the other figures!)

Will have to wait and see, till I actually have a figure in my hands, but it sure seems,
that DST - for some reasons - has problems with their Trek figures...

Not a good sign, I think. :-(

The packaging picture (top right) is the Next-Gen.-Picture, not the Nemesis one.

Yeah, but unlike the WNMHGB Kirk, they actually already HAVE a correct tricorder sculpted! Seems to me they wanted to cheap out so far that they reused the plastic bubble! Now THAT'S cheap.

I hope he looks good next to the rest but with the lack of the front zipper and the color being off I not holding my breath. I will wait to see some out of package shots before turning completely against it but am riding the fence right now.

These must have been made during the same run as the wave 3 season 7 figures, which would explain the drop in quality. Hopefully FC Data won't experience these problems and cut backs since he might be done in another production run. They certainly would have enough time to make sure he is much better than the rest of this wave. If he is better, perhaps customs can be done to give LaForge a better body.

You would think that with a production run of 1701 that the paint apps would be outstanding. So here is hoping that this figure is just a fluke.
