I had a quick browse of NewForce... I couldn't find what you mean, besides a mention on the front page of it being "ready for presell... soon", which was posted in July.

I guess DST told them to wait for solicitation, since the delays were getting them a lot of bad word of mouth.
I'll ask when they plan to solicit the Excelsior, and which version they're going with first.

So the Excelsior is a while away yet at least. A pity, they promised Takei it'd be out by the end of the year when they wished him Happy Birthday. And I'd have preferred a TUC BOP, but TSFS has great lines, too.

They should really include a sound with some guy saying "HAPPY TUESDAY!", followed by fx for the tractor beam, photon torpedos, and ... what was the other thing?

New force has the enterprise -b up for preorder for $44.99. i ordered mines, now lets hope DST can the enterprise-c and finish the enterprise ships.

I don't think they had phasers, either. It was virtually unarmed on it's maiden voyage, something James T. Kirk would never have allowed, were he still in the Captain's chair.

New blog post on the Art Asylum site, detailing the B and the BOP.
Nothing much new about the B, except an odd mention of "Light up weapons" - the B pointedly *had no weapons* in Generations!

Agreed !! Would be cool if it has a Main Nav Deflector pulse effect !! Man I love this part of the game !! Just before the ship comes out ....and we are all wondering what exactly it will have on it !! Can't wait !!!
