Y'know, that's a good question. And here's the answer.

It was a dark and stormy night. All was quiet in the toy aisles. They were brimming over with toys that had JUST been restocked and were waiting for the doors to open early in the morning. The hours snailed by and then,SUDDENLY.....

Nah,just kidding. The impulse buyer in me sometimes buys two of things he thinks are cool, really likes or if the item screams BUYME!,BUYME! And this item fits all three. I also like to have an extra in case a fellow collector might need one,or just to save. No,I don't do ebay. I don't have an ebay account and I almost never buy from ebay. The rare instances that happens,a friend of mine in Raleigh does the whole thing for me. I just give him money and say, shop. For some weird reason I have never liked ebay, and I have no reason as to why.

Anyways, when and if you do take pre-orders,I would still like two. LOL! I only have one Mayweather fig,but ended up with two of some of the others because of this whole bridge set thing.

I also ended up with two of some of the 2009 figs, but that was by choice as I,for the first time in my life, did some head swaps so I got a Bones and Chekov in Starfleet uniform. NEAT! And yes,I did like what Playmates did back then too. I know most of you don't,lol!

Great stuff Darren!

LOL! There is actually an ending to that story, lol! Maybe one day I'll tell it.

Well you're welcome to beam over and have a look, lol! Cornwall isn't that far from Craplan....Norway....but this time of year is pretty bad. Cold, snow and dark. Besides, most of my stuff is now in storage. One day I might drag it all out again though, lol!

Hey CKT,how you holding up in Fort Worth? You get some of that bad weather I've been seeing on MSN?

Have fun y'all!

J-R!

If they get made, Please Include me, for one.
Even unfinished would be great, and if I have to pick up a new Reed bridge piece for parts, I will.

Good evening, everyone  ^_^

Here is a quick update on my progress. After what seems like an eternity of detail sanding the Milliput to give nice crisp edges etc, I managed to finally complete all the panel detailing. I have also been working on other parts, such as the "gear shift", hand rails and details that cannot be made from styrene sheet. I love Milliput!

Anyway, the parts that have been made by sculpting will also be moulded and cast in plastic resin

and attached at the end.

so, here are a few pictures to let you all see for yourselves how it is looking. Hope you like it!

This looks so good. I am seriously considering to buy Archer, T'Pol and Reed with bridge stations and then order this one from you! Great work!

I think it looks pretty fantastic.  Are you adding a 'gear shift'?

Great work! Are you the same Darren who was HunkyArtist on another Star Trek board? If your not, your the second Darren from the UK ive seen that that has exceptional talent at this kind of artistry!

Yeah, I thought you were Hunky Artist too. But I decided that the style was different. Also, that Darren is too busy to be working like Scotty! No human can do all these projects, simultaneously!!:-D

Evening, All!
I have finally managed to push the helm sttion forward tonight, if only a little. I have nearly finished the cutting and applying of all the console buttons. It's not 100% accurate but it's pretty close! I have also resized all the graphics which were offered for anyone to use by CaptSpry, so my massive thanks go to him!!!

It's nice to finally start getting a little detail on this piece....

A lot of clean up now required to remove excess glue.

I will try to get the graphics printed tomorrow to see how they look.
More soon!

Okay, the wife laid down the law today so little to no model making. Instead, getting the Christmas decorations from the attic, and top to bottom house work so everything is up to her standards...

Are you adding a 'gear shift'?

I did get this assembled and roughly painted up though...
