Decided to start a new build..... Wanted to have some fun... I am building a custom 1/1400 Dominion Buster Ambassador Class ( The USS Adelphi)

The story goes.... After the incident with the USS Odyssey, Starfleet decided to use some of the successful techniques used on the groundbreaking Defiant project on a larger scale.... The first candidate was the Adelphi..... She was brought in from long range exploration mission for a complete refit....

I have begun heavily modifying the AMT 1701-C rerelease kit.... I have ordered a lot of goodies from Federation Models to beef her up also....

The grid lines will all be removed from the Primary hull.... There will be no windows or exposed lifeboats ....Just armor aztec pattern...

The bottom of the saucer will have a "Weapon O Mass Destruction" aka dual Quantum Torpedo Launcher similar in appearance to the AGTs saucer mounted cannon.

The Secondary Hull and Nacelles will be heavily modified....

Here are some initial pictures of what I have done so far....

Here is the secondary hull... ( Pretty much done with mods at this point )

The Saucer being filled with putty to remove grid lines....

The nacelles being simplified and beefed up....

I will continue to post updates....

This thing looks awesome, I would love to have something like this in my collection but I have no modeling skills whatsoever.
