I don't think Vala came with a piece of the StarGate. She came with the ancient communication device and crystals for it.

Is that supposed to connect to something because theres a hole at the bottom and I couldnt find anything to fit.

Nope it is buy itself. The little blue crystal things are suppossed to fit in the slots around the outer rim but that is it. I am guessing that the hole in the bottom came from the casting process for the mold.
