After so long, it feels so good to finally have this:

Prometheus made an amazing C for me, and I will no doubt be using his services again in the future (I'm looking at you 1/1000 Polar Lights refit NX-01). Unfortunately for whatever reason the base it came with wouldn't hold her straight, not sure why, Pro said it may be a weight issue. Luckily enough I had the smaller DST D stand that fit and works perfectly with it.

I posted it here since they're mostly DST ships, all I need now and is Eaglemoss to release their A....

Pro is definitely a pro!! He made it look like an A+ DST release!

Maybe I should commission something...is there a good Negh'Var model somewhere?

Amazing. The C, D and E next to each other, more or less in perfect scale - lovely. :)

WISH there was an accurate Defiant kit...

He did a great job on the paint, it fits in really well with the DST ships, especially with the DST stand on it.

So could Prometheus take over from the work begun by Thomas Sasser on delivering us ships for DST?

Amazing work and awesome display.

When I bought the dresser 6-7 years ago it was for displaying my DST ships, made sure it was deep enough for the E to fit,

He should definitely be in charge of paint apps, this C looks spot on.

Thanks you guys.... What an honor to be compared to Thomas. Unfortunately.... I'm not much of an engineer..... The prototypes all require a certain engineered design. I am pretty good, as Alterean said, with construction, paint, and details though.

Your line of Enterprises looks utterly amazing Alterean!!! Congratulations on a collection well deserved ;)

I still can't get over how amazing the C looks, and how good it feels to finally have a completed line.

It's weird, but my urge to collect things has dropped drastically since I got it. I guess there was an Enterprise C shaped void that needed to be filled.

I can understand that !!!  When you finally find something you have been looking for I guess it would be very rewarding. I'm glad I could help !!!

Actually, Im building another C right now for OneAngryDwarf.... Its going to be similar to yours, Alterean, except that the dark gray will be more of a dark blue gray. If OAD wants me to I will post pictures in the everything else section.... I'm about 40% done with it now.....

Another C already huh? Wonder how many of those you'll end up building. I know at some point down the line I'll be wanting you to build me the NX-01 refit, not sure when, but it'll happen.

Hopefully they'll be cool with you showing it, would love to see how she compares to mine.

Greetings All,

I am perfectly fine wish sharing pictures of the build with the forum. Heck, seeing Alteran's is what prompted me to reach out about th"c" in the first place.

Can't wait for this.

Regards,

OAD

A very nice looking ship.

Is that C built up from a model kit?
