Just out of curiosity, can someone who actually has this confirm whether or not it has actual phrases from the episode "The Trouble with Tribbles" or just re-used phrases from the previous electronic chair release?

Hmmm....I wonder if these will be on the shipping list for next week? The colors seem kinda dark on Kirk's shirt...

It is just the same phrases thats listed on the box... BUT, don't know if this was on the other one, if you push down the buttons (one at a time) they make different sounds. "Space the final frontier..." and beep sounds from the bridge. Hope I answered your question tongue.gif

Mine arrived yesterday. It kind of sounds like my sound chip leans toward high-pitched; I didn't have time to get out the previous electronic one and put batteries back in to compare. DST really needs to get this sound thing figured out.

Yes, the original electronic chair had features for looping bridge sound fx if you hold down the "fx button" (for lack of a better word), and the "Space, the final frontier..." monologue with continuously flashing lights if you hold down the "talk" button.

Got my "Tribbles" chair today...

As already said: There isn't much new about this one, except these oversized tribbles and a better painted Kirk figure (in my opinion).

Oh,... and they cheaped out on the box... same back of the box as in the the "standard"-electronic-version... Kirk in gold uniform. tz tz tz... lame... wink.gif

LoT

PS:
The soundchip on mine is ok... no high pitch of the voice and/or fx.

For those who have the Tribbles version, did you also get the regular version? I saw it was $14.99 at TRU.

Looks like it is still on sale, but just as good of a sale as it was, it is now $23.99, which is still 6 dollars cheaper than it originally was.

Okay so does someone have a picture of this who didn't order it from Amazon? Like a packaged shot? Because I am a little confused as to how to place this on the NFC Site...

And one more thing...can someone give me an item number for it?

The Tribble version is currently $9.99 on Amazon. I am going to order a second one...one to open...one to keep in the package. I thought $15 was good the other day. $10 is better. I don't know how long the price will stay at $10.

Thanks for the tip STLCardsFan! I was going to get one at $15, but $10 is great! I was able to catch that deal!

$10 is an amazing price, as is the $8 Picard! I was *almost* tempted to get another just because, but I really don't need it. wink.gif

Heck, $10 sounds great for the bag of tribbles alone. biggrin.gif
